The location was great and the young receptionist was nice.
Breakfast staff in the dining room was unfriendly.
-location -nice personnel (althoug they hardly speak English) they were nice and helpful.
Personnel hardly speak English. I have never been in the hotel with so bad quality of sleep. So much noise on the street and very bad isolation in the hotel. You can hear everything from the neighbours. The whole night, specailly from midnight to 5 am was not not quite. I hardly made couple of hours of sleep in 3 nights.
the breakfastroom was small and choice was very limited.
Excelent location, low price for a such location
Double bed was small and not comfortable, not too clean (lots of stain on the floor), terace doors weren't working properly and no light on the terrace. Poor breakfast, not worth to be payed for.
Good wifi, tv in the room, located literally minutes from the strict center and all the main tourist attractions. Metro and bus very close to the hotel. We really enjoyed our time there and would definetely come back!
Location is just perfect from Sol. Near the hotel lot of bars and restaurant. Fortunatly, when I stay, street was not that noisy so I slept well. Wifi was working well(our room was on 4th floor), breakfast was also good. Room was typical and can not smoke inside the room.(this can be good or bad:actually we chose smoking room).
when we try to get in the hotel, sometimes we had to wait in front of the hotel door 'coz no one in the front then we can not open the door.
the room was quite big and clean, breakfasts were qite varied, very good price/quality relation
Attention The hotel is allowing prostitutes. The hotel is receiving, as guests, prostitutes from the neighborhood and their clients. They arrive late in the night, disturb otehr guests and leave early. Unsafe. Unreliable.
Nice balcony Good personell during daytime
Very simple standard Night portier not really keen to help us upon arrival.
Very small room ( Foto is a fake , it shows 3 Person room) Breakfast time 8.30 - 10.30
Very good hotel)))
The location, good value, clean, friendly staff, breakfast OK
The location on Fri & Sat night, party!
Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Handy soap dispenser. Great location.
Pillows. No plugs for bath or basin.
Location couldn't be better. Staff was very friendly and willing to help if necessary.
Room was in excellant condition, fairly cheap and centrally located.
The location was next to some very busy pubs/ restauarants meaning that nighttime was very, very noisy.
The location was perfect. Close to restaurants, bars and entertainment. All staff were very helpful. breakfast was good with excellent coffee. A few steps away from the Plaza Santa Anna which was full of chairs and tables in front of all the restaurants surrounding it - very pleasant way to spend an evening.
Only thing was the noise early on Saturday morning about 5.30am. Sounded like there were thousands of people in the street. We closed heavy curtains that night and weren't bothered by the noise again.
Terrific staff. Lady who runs breakfast is terrific, friendly and motherly. Front desk efficient and friendly. Position incredible - right in the centre of the old town which really buzzes !
Excellent location in the middle of the night life of Madrid. If you are a party person this is your place. Also located 5 minutes away form metro station Sol, it is a walking distance form the main touristic sites. The personnel is ready to help you but you’d better speak Spanish. Foreign languages are a strong point for the people form Western Europe.
Noise form the streets, but this is normal having in mind that Spanish people like fiesta till 5 a.m., especially on Friday and Saturday night. The walls are a bit thin as well.
close to Museo del Prado
I do not remember
Location was excellent and we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel.
-Weird smell in stairwell -Street below hotel is extremely noisy all night long.
The only thing I missed was the mini bar as it was quite warm and I had to dring warm water and other drinks. Regards, Juliet Balzan. Malta
The location for exploring Madrid was excellent. Our balcony was fantastic for relaxing after a long day out.
Some evenings quite noisy in the street
Location, breakfast, wi-fi in room.
It is noisy at night on Friday and Saturday.
1. The hotel location is excellent, very close to Sol Metro Station and within walking distance to many of Madrid famous attractions. 2. Hotel Staff was very helpful.
1. There was no mini-bar in the room 2. Breakfast is very basic.
The location was great! Very central to everything. The metro is right there too.
I liked my balcony room and location was great but it was a bit noisy. While I understood where and why it was noisy, the noise continued well into the night and early morning. I had to get up at 5 am for my flight.
