Offering superb views of Mahon Bay, Catalonia Mirador des Port is an elegant white building located on grounds. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, a gym and jacuzzi. Each bright, modern room comes with air conditioning and a fan. There is a satellite TV, safe and minibar. Rooms are also heated and the private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. A varied buffet breakfast, with show cooking, is served in the Mirador des Port restaurant. The bright dining room offers excellent views of the Port of Mahon and the bay. The staff are the best thing about the hotel. Exceptionally helpful and very pleasant. Sometimes no-one on the bar but once they come they are good. Breakfast is OK but not great.

Nothing to dislike. The somewhat noisy location went along with the appeal of watching the commercial activity.

The hotel was very pleasant to stay in, and in a great location for Mahon town centre and the bus station, where you can go all over the island. The breakfast and dinner were nice and restaurant has great views over the harbour. Also the garden and pool very pleasant to sit in, as well as the jacuzzi in the fitness suite. Room was nice, had a good fan, and well cleaned every day. Overall a nice hotel that I was pleased to stay in. The hotel is near a residential area, and for a few evenings dogs were barking constantly. Some youths would also gather nearby but the hotel is secure and to be honest the above issues are outwith the hotel's control.

Very old rooms. They have some news, but they are more expensive Hotel Personnal don't inform about how to get to city correctly. Garden and swimming pool are not in well conditions

View of Mahon harbour. The room smelled like a changing room and was in need of proper refurbishment. We cancelled the first night of our stay online due a cancelled flight and received acknowledgement from BOOKING.COM but were still charged for a full night stay. The hotel was not busy so there was no demand for the room. The meal in the hotel was expensive but poor.

Good hotel in lovely position, excellent breakfast but understaffed so food not topped up quickly enough Water system needs attention as the noise from other rooms shower was deafening and unpleasant experience.

Convenient location for touring the city by walking for those who are able to negotiate many steps in the city and getting down to the marina section. You do not need an auto (no parking available anyway) or taxi if you are reasonably fit. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to where all the best restaurants and city center. The breakfast buffet is very good and the restaurant provided one of the best meals we had on our recent visit to Menorca. It is a quiet hotel with a beautiful view of the harbor and the city. They have a problem with taking American Express even though we reserved our room with the card. We got this a lot in Menorca. They attempt to use the card and then find their machine will not process the card while saying "Oh there is nothing wrong with the card but saying do you have a Visa card?" You just get tired of the same thing happening repeatedly. This complaint may have to do more with American Express's manner of doing business but they should not post they take the card if they are going to make you go through this process. There was no air conditioning but this is common for the month of May. They probably will switch it on for the summer months. We did fine by opening the windows slightly. This is a hotel that could use some painting and a little sprucing up to bring it back to it's best but it is still a very nice hotel. We will use it again.

The service was very good for a 3 stars hotel. Nice staff and instalations. Nice breakfast as well. The heating system didn't work very well. Some dificulties in order to issue an invoice. The woman at the front desk claimed that what I requested could be only done from some central office. I found that weird. A piece of advise: if you need to get an invoice remember to warn them while checking in. That way wou will give them enough time to work on wathever you might need.

Me han gustado la vistas al puerto de Maó que podía admirar mientras tomaba el desayuno. Mi habitación también era grande, luminosa y con buenas vistas. Destacaría la tranquilidad del lugar. El personal del hotel muy amable, el desayuno muy completo.

Me ha gustado su ubicacion, aunque no es facil encontrar el hotel, no tiene parking y es dificil aparcar cerca. El personal muy amable, es lo mejor del hotel. El termo de la ducha no funcionaba muy bien,el agua caliente era mas bien tibia, segun el personal tenian problemas con la caldera, problema que ya habia leido en los comentarios de este hotel en booking.com. La cama muy dura y los almohadas muy blanditas y pequeñas, en fin la cama nada comoda. Al hotel le falta una remodelacion, ya que es un poco antiguo y el mobiliario no digamos.
