Set near Hospital Puerta del Hierro, Sercotel Majadahonda is a 5-minute drive from Las Rejas Golf Club. It offers free access to its gym, sauna and swimming pool. All rooms at the Sercotel Majadahonda are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning and a safe. Rooms also have free internet and a safe. The Majadahonda has a central patio, full of plants and natural light. Mediterranean cooking can be enjoyed here or in the restaurant. Private parking is available on site. The Sercotel is less than half a mile from Majadahonda's historic Old Town and 9 miles from the middle of Madrid. Hotel staff has always been kind, courteous, friendly and proactive in their service whether they be in the front desk area or the breakfast room. Unlike other hotels in the Madrid area, they are also all at least bi-lingual. This is very helpful. The small workout room has been nice to have available; and, we used the pool quite a bit. Beds are comfortable and they have all the amenities that we could ever need.

The hotel offers very good facilities and a modern classy style The free wifi is very good but the available bandwidth was too low. The taxi driver had difficulty to find the hotel but this is a generic problem of the taxi in Madrid.that are fairly incompetent.

cleanliness The locked glass doors separating the rooms from the communal areas of the hotel. I walked straight into one and had a headache and a bump on my head for days. Surely, it should be possible to make these doors more visible?

Die Hotelangestellten sind durchwegs sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend und versuchen dem Gast den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Lobby vom Hotel war sehr schön weihnachtlich geschmückt und ist auch sehr einladend. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Von Vorteil ist auch, dass der Zugangsbereich zu den Hotelzimmern extra abgetrennt ist und um ins Zimmer zu gelangen muss man die Keycard somit 2mal einsetzen. Es gibt auch extra Raucherzimmer ! Frühstückszeit ist bis 10:30 bzw. Sonn und Freiertags sogar bis 11:00 Uhr. Außerdem ist Late check out bis 16:00 Uhr ohne Mehrkosten möglich, natürlich nur wenn die Buchungslage es erlaubt. Für Einkaufsfreudige ist in wenigen Gehminuten ein Modezentrum mit vielen verschiedenen Geschäften erreichbar. Der Swimmingpool könnte eine Rundumerneuerung vertragen. Ein Neuanstrich der Wände und eine Auffrischung sämtlicher Gegenstände im Swimmungpoolbereich wäre von großem Vorteil. Auch eine Überarbeitung der Verglasung würde alles freundlicher und einladender erscheinen lassen.
