restaurants and dining areas are too crowded, cave like, clients are squeezed together in claustrophobic areas, it´s also to warm, uncomfortably so. Long stairs down.

Very clean and neat environment and rooms, very helpful staff! Location is amazing for shopping and also you can walk anywhere from the hotel if you want to do sightseeing.

Room was a bit small for my personal standards but compared to general European standards it is not that small.

Confort and location...

The location on Paseo de Gracia is the best..! The room was recently renovated, nicely decorated and spacious enough. Umbrella's were available when it rained, and I could settle the bill the night before, and get an arranged taxi. Good service, but in-room service prices amongst other fees were rediculous..

Some items were odd when knowing the room was recently renovated... For one, the space between bed and office desk was little, therefore there was no chair to sit on for use at the office desk. Besides, there was no toilet brush, and the shower was in the bath, hard for older people to get in to... Another strange thing for a new room was the fact that we could clearly hear the tv of the neighboring room! And, lastly, there is a fee for Internet usage, something not done for a large hotel who earns enough...

Good location

Reception refused to issue an invoice, I was told booking.com should issue the invoice. As a result I paid twice for the garage and was also charged for laundry which was a mistake from their side but...no apologizes

Location and cleaning of the hotel were excellent. I was there with my wife and were very satisfied the services and all the stuff were always respectful and smile whenever they see us. We were impressed.

There was a strange smell in the corridors especially in the 2nd floor. We couldn't figure out the reason. The room reserved for us had two single bed which we had not preferred. Breakfast menu did not include so many different tastes. I was expecting better menu for such a good hotel and 19 euro is not worth to pay for it. Also, during check-out, final bill hadn't checked properly. They issued me 100 euro more bill howerver when I told theme there is a mistake, they suddenly take care of it.

Poor, claustrafobic room with terrible smell from canalization and prison like window view.

We just returned from a cruise and wanted to stay another day before returning home. We arrived early at the hotel and our room was ready at 8:30am. What a treat, we rested and then walked and saw the city. When we returned, a bucket of champlagne was waiting for us. This was the bset champagne we ever tasted, very smooth. Great location for shopping, people watching. I would stay here again without question.

Location is good as its near to all branded shops & nice coffeeshops

the room space was very small and the view is over car parking as they told us that they have the street view only for suites, there isn't any five star hotel facility and they don't have good resturant for breakfast

The Majestic is a very central location, midway between two of the main Gaudi attractions: Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. Additionally its one block form a metro station which opens travel options very well. The room was a good size and comfortable, though it suffered from the perennial problem of only having one easy chair in a double room. The reception areas were pleasant and airy though a little too staid for my liking. It stands on one of the main shopping streets and is also near to many good quality bars and restaurants

The majestic is a high priced hotel, possibly because it now houses a Michelin starred restaurant. However in terms of value for money it is poor, with not so much as a complimentary bottle of water in a room costing more than £200 a night. On top of this, breakfast was not included and they charged an eye watering €24 minimum for breakfast, so for two of us, we could have spent €150 just on breakfasts. We didn't and found some great bars who did breakfasts for €10 - for two. Its obviously on the major tourist trail (We saw a number of US and Japanese staying in the hotel), so I guess they know their market, but we wouldn't stay there again. I've stayed in better hotels for less money
