Very good location, close to restaurants and metro station. Lots of shops nearby and Paseo del Prado and Parque del Retiro within walking distance. Personnel in the breakfast area is very friendly.
Some days the street is very noisy late night (3, 4 am) when a nearby club closes and people stay on the streets. Get away fron rooms facing the street. Parking is very expensive as it is public.
Excellent location as 2 min walk to the centre. Helpful staff.
There was no coffee making facilities (maybe missed that when booking). Beds were hard but matter of taste.
Breakfast is good, staff is friendly and room and bathroom have good sizes.
There is a problem with rooms located in the front of the hotel. These rooms are very noisy if you are unlucky to be there fridays and weekends when people leave a discotheque next to the hotel and stay below you window talking and being loud at 4am in the morning.
Location was the best. Center of everywhere. Staff was very helpful.
The water of shower getting very hot every 30-second and really made it very difficult for us to take a shower.
Good location for exploring Madrid.
Poor service from staff. Rooms not cleaned when we returned at 5 pm. Had to ask for them to be serviced.
good location close to sol station and many attraction points nearby clean room
needs a renovation in the near future
The property is oh so close to the Puerto Del Sol, which is a lively centre that never seems to sleep. The breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful.
Bar prices for mixed drinks were pretty high, given the low retail price of spirits in Spain.
Good Location. Clean and neat room Good air con. and bathroom. Room is comfortable. Wifi is good.
good location, good staff, clean, comfort.
Good hotel in the very heart of Madrid, also very close to Chueca. Perfect for Madrid Gay Pride celebration.
A bit dated, beds and sheets need improvement. Window in room 509 was seriously damaged, and wasn't fixed while we were there.
The big balcony on 4-th floor Good breakfast Good location in the center of Madrid, close to Gran Via
Excellent hotel with respect to its price and superb location. Very good and fresh breakfast. We enjoyed it very much there.
Decoration and location
First day we allocated attic room. Did not good in tetms size. Bumping head while moving. Selection of food in restaurant repetitive on weekly basis
Fay and Fred Norfolk Island
Room was small. Need an update. Towels old and worn Bed linen did not fit properly and had holes in it. Not as clean as the standard should be. Old style TV
it is a clean hotel and it is in a very good location
not all the facilities were in the room
The staff were excellent: very helpful and efficient. Location near Puerta del Sol is great!
Nothing. Even the price for breakfast was worth it.
The staff were helpful, the room clean and comfortable, location terrific. The foyer and public areas well appointed but welcoming
The location was great and easy to access shopping, food, and metro. Rooms were clean and of decent size.
The bed was very hard. The Madrid Orgullo was taking place. The noise from the street below continued until 7 a.m. making it very difficult to sleep.
HORRIBLE STAFF ENTER THE ROOM ANYTIME NOT SAFE FACILITIES DONT WORK HORRIBLE RECEPTIONIST
Location , size of room and breakfast selection were all v good,.
The beds were very uncomfortable, it felt like you were sleeping on a box spring, this was the most expensive of our hotels and the one with the least comfortable beds.
Im afraid the staff on reception were not very attentive. Didn´t seem to know what they were doing. Had booked for a few nights but had only got us down for one.
A very comfortable hotel in an ideal situation. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Excellent location, hotel immaculately clean, very comfortable spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Would definitely return.
