Staff were relaxed but efficient, good energy, not too stuffy. Hotel was charming, great location. Great Spa. Had a terrible meal at the Saigon restaurant which is inside the Christina, couldn't believe how bad the veal was. I would sort out the corridor leading to the Spa, looks terrible, bright orange with bits of plaster falling off, with old pictures os celebs which are not even framed. Shame, as the Spa is fantastic. |

Friendliness of most staff. Excellent room and overall decor and environment. Wonderful location. One of senior bar staff was quite deliberately slow and unhelpful. The other bar staff were excellent. Price was high for overall package for a guest. Breakfast was not good or value on first visit. |

The ambiance was fantastic and the service in general was very good. Our stay was very pleasant. This is not so much as what I didn't like, but as to an observation. The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous furniture but I couldn't help noticing that the paintwork was deteriorating and it would be a shame for such an elegant hotel to become delapitated for the need of some cosmetic work. |

Substantial redevelopment in the locality of hotel made it difficult to find since the local signs all direct you to the construction site and not the front of the hotel which has recently been moved to face the river. |
