Quiet, friendly and helpful reception

Worst coffee I've had in a long time at breakfast. I mean there is absolutely no excuse these days for serving such poor quality coffee. In fact the machines dispensing drinks at breakfast generally were very poor i.e. my son even ended up with a glass of murky water since the machine had dispensed orange juice immediately before. Maybe the staff in the breakfast room could also take some lessons on social skills and the art of smiling. I have to say that breakfast was not the hotel's strength..! Otherwise my son and I had a good stay!

Not much, our room was ant infested, the balcony was ant infested, the breakfast fruit was barely fit for animal food, the eggs and bacon were slopped up and always cold, the coffee was awful, there was a permanent distasteful smell walking through the reception areas of the hotel that could only be equated with that found in a geriatric residential home. We have never stayed in a worse hotel.

The wifi worked erratically and only if you were within 5 Mtrs of the reception desk and you had to get a new password and user id every 24 hours, the room safe was charged for on a per diem basis!! The hotel guests are expected to clear their breakfast table and empty their trays on to the collection trays for cutlery, crockery, glassware, having firstly emptied their thrash. Its like an old folks institution. Never again, not recommended under any circumstances.

A little dated but very clean and comfortable. We stayed in September for two nights and had a lovely sea view room. It was very inexpensive so you get what you pay for. Most of the people staying were either Swiss German or French and mostly retired. An Ideal hotel for older people with great singing and dancing outside on the terrace, which was so lovely to watch. The location, right on the beach beside the promenade in the quieter end of the strand. Not really for the 20 somethings but would recommend for all others and beach lovers!

The location was excellent right on the beach couldn't ask for better. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The lack of bar food facilities throughout the day also quality and variety of breakfast was poor

Having a fridge in the room that was useless!

The position of the hotel is fantastic.. Right on the seafront with lovely views from the sea-facing rooms. The rooms are comfortable, clean & absolutely adequate - but there is no air conditioning (may be hot in August) but fine for our stay in July. We did not dine there but b&b was fine - full selection of cooked or continental available for self- service. There is music outside & dancing most nights this may keep you awake if you turn in before midnight again- not a problem for us. All in all no higher recommendation then that we would defiantly book again if we visit Roses in future years! Particularly lovely receptionist who spoke perfect English & helped us on many occasions.

Close to beach and walking distance of centre of Roses, Room clean and of resonable size. Close, free, parking (as with most of Roses) Some reception staff were friendly as were dining room and cleaning staff

Breakfast had limited choice, and not very hot. Bread hard/dry. Did not fell 'at home' in hotel mainly due to personality of a person at reception.

Superb location directly on promenade and beach. Free secure parking. Pool area quiet as most people use the beach. I booked bed and breakfast, usual buffet style.The clientelle were predominantly elderly french and spanish who enjoyed the nightly dancing entertainment. If it's not your thing, Roses centre is a 20 minute stroll along the promenade. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, but please don't use the Green's mini golf bar as owner very unwelcoming. Can we positively recommend the boat trip to Cadaques, well worth it. On the whole the hotel and resort is for more mature couples.

Made a last minute booking on my mobile, unfortunately, I missed that the hotel does not have air conditioning in the room. The temperatures were up to 36 degrees but managed to purchase a fan in town as the hotel did not provide any. The hotel was a bit dated in decor and fittings.

We just loved our stay, Danielle and the Manageress, the lovely blonde lady beginning with a "Y" (mislaid note with her name!) the Bar Staff and diningroom staff excellent. The maid did a good job, brilliant all round, Thank You

Hotel très bien situé Pas de route à traverser pour se retrouver sur la plage :) Restaurants à proximité Belle randonnées, joggings,à faire sur le littoral depuis l'hotel Interessant de venir en famille Un bel accueil nous est réservé

Demandé vue sur la mer, mais vue moitié parking moitié vu mer c'est dommage.

Hôtel très bien placé, très calme. Bord de mer. Le personnel est très gentil. Le petit déjeuner est fonctionnel. Il y a beaucoup de places de parking autour de l'hôtel, mais il faut voir en saison d'été !

L'accueil, le personnel particulièrement agréable et avenant, excellent rapport qualité/prix, buffet simple mais de qualité, chambre un peu vieillotte mais propre et fonctionnelle

La ubicación y las vistas. Está a pocos metros de la playa se ve muy bien el golfo de Rosas y el pueblo. El detalle del minibar, que enfriaba perfectamente, a así te permitía tener siempre algo fresco para un caso de necesidad. El desayuno buffet, muy bien.

Un poco escaso el champú y el jabón que ponen en el cuarto de baño y las toallas un poco delgadas. Esto se veía compensado con la rapidez del personal en atender tus peticiones, pero deberían corregir esto.

Direkt an der Strandpromenade, Gratis Garagenplatz und sehr hilfreiches Personal.

Tägliche Abendunterhaltung auf dem Vorplatz bis Mitternacht. Frank Sinatras New York.. und green grass of home ... bis zum Abwinken.

Het hotel is vlak bij het strand en de zee. Een hele vriendelijke man aan de receptie die alle talen sprak, en ja ook Nederlands!

De tijd is daar blijven stilstaan want alles is nog hetzelfde als 6 jaar geleden Dode planten in de gang waar de trap is. Het ontbijt elke dag hetzelfde en als je te vroeg gaat, krijg je oude pistolets en croissant van de dag voordien. Wij wachten tot ze kwamen met een verse mand,rond 8u45. Een onvriendelijk meisje zonder bril aan de receptie(niet de bazin). Oude vuile kasten in refter, kortom een verouderd hotel die echt aan een opknapbeurt toe is !!

Hotel tres propre tres bonne situation car au bord de la plage, tres proche de rosas et de santa margarita hotel pas bruyant, couchages confortable, personnel tres gentil, à l'écoute, Très bon rapport qualite/prix. N'a rien a envier a certains hotels tres proches qui sont 30% + chers et dont le personnel est à revoir ainsi que la qualite des chambres.petit dejeuner tres varie et bon. je le recommande sans probleme

La chambre et la soirée dansante

L'accueil, justement parce que j'étais passée par booking et qu'il ne fallait pas , alors tout a été plus cher, pas le droit a la demi-pension comme l'an dernier moyennant finance bien sur, mais deux repas si je voulais à régler en salle à 12 € pour un buffet frugal.

Ce que nous avons apprécié se trouve principalement dans la situation géographique de l'hôtel, le confort de la chambre. Mais particulièrement le couple qui fait l'animation musicale le soir, et qui est une valeur sure de cet hôtel. Nous avons également apprécié le seul serveur aimable, serviable, professionnel qui est au petits soins des clients mais avec un naturel évident. Il se nomme José et j'espère que les responsables de l'hôtel en sont conscients et devraient impérativement être reconnaissants.

Nous avons trouvé que l'hôtel n'est pas à la hauteur des 3 étoiles affichées. L'équipement des chambres est insuffisant en ce qui concerne la fourniture d'électricité qui ne vous permet pas d'utiliser votre propre sèche cheveus car limité en kw. Nous en avons fait état mais en vain. On vous fait croire que le problème va être réglé, alors qu'il n'en est absolument pas question, et, pendant ce temps les jours passent. Aucume considération pour le bien être des clients. Mais le pire, c'est que les clients n'ayant pas choisi la formule avec pension sont relèguaient au fond de la salle de restaurant sans pouvoir choisir sa place, alors que les clients qui ont optés pour cette formule sont priviligiés et donc placés du côté des vérandas avec vue sur la mer. Nous avons été choqué par ce procédé qui date de l'avant guerre. Vive l'abolition des privileges.

La situation en bord de mer. Accès direct à la plage (Absence de route entre hotel et plage). Accès facile à l'hôtel à condition de connaître son emplacement.

Les petits déjeuners de mauvaise qualité: - pain - croissants - confitures - fruits verts Absence de climatisation dans les chambres orientées au sud. Difficultés de stationnement (mais période de pointe de fréquentation)

Su ubicacion, esta cerca la playa y sitio tranquilo.

Mucha calor en la habitacin, no tiene aire acondicionado.

Pour l'ensemble des prestations rien à dire ,tres accueillant comme d'habitude

Il est inadmissible que la réservation par internet procure des tarifs plus élevés pour la demi pension (12 € au lieu de 8€ ), ainsi que l'octroi de chambre de moins bonnes prestations ( pas de climatisation ,chambre plus petite ?)Donc c'était la dernière fois que je réserve par internet !!!
