Good location and on the nicer side of Puerta del Sol. Only a few staff speak English, so best to know a little Spanish yourself. Hotel was very noisy, thin walls & loud quests including lots of children. Was moved to a less noisy room after asking twice, but I could still hear noise from other rooms and the corridor. Only good for deep sleepers! -After my room move, the staff did not update their records and had hassle asking for a different room key when I returned at night. Price should be less for quality. |

The staff was very helpfull, it looks like a true effort is being done to modernize the hostal The sheets were not very clean. The matress was very noisy. The area is extreemly noisy at night. The bath room does not really close |
