wifi not good
The bathromm had been mibbed with a badly washed mob leaving a trail of an unpleasabt smell. I complained and it was cleaned with his in mind abd the smell ceased.
Very good location with lots of bars and restaurants all around.
There were some problems with the WiFi including the ridiculously complex password. The water was not draining properly from the shower. The roll of toilet paper in the bathroom was obviously used one.
I was given a room in another of their properties nearby (there are 4). This was a 2nd floor walk up. The room was large with 2 double plus one single bed. Beds were comfortable, bath with shower was small but adequate. Very clean. Hot water, nice shower heads and good water pressure. Wi-fi adequate and free. I did not watch the television. Quiet, I could not hear the next room's occupants ( this has been a problem in these small hotels). Overall, an excellent value as the total charge was under 70€.
No elevator. The 2nd floor is really the 3rd floor to US visitors. Long walk up 3 flights of stairs carrying luggage with no staff to help as this was one of their satellite hotels.
Price, location, amenities for the price, and security.
Key is still old school, safe door was broken, but small price to pay for what you get.
wi fi solamente en la recepcion muy poca agua en la ducha, así que tenia que gastar 1 hora de mi tempo duchando me The wifi just works in the reception desk. The water in the shower is very, very weak, so you have to spend much time to have a shower.
We spent 5 days at the Hostal Marlasca and found it to have the perfect location to explore Madrid.
Towels changed every 3 days Sheets changed every 5 days Wifi only worked in the very small reception area
A friendly little hotel, Hostal Marlasca had everything we wanted: a great location, lively neighbor hood with tons of tapas places but a quiet, safe room. And a Nespresso machine in the lobby. A friend recommended it to us and we will pass along that same recommendation. Not snazzy, just right.
This question stumps me. No answer.
The bathroom was absurd. The shower was so small that if you opened the door it would block the access to the taps, so the only way to get it started was to enter, close the door and open the tap. This means that every time you would get a cold shower until the water warmed up. Each day had to ask the cleaning lady to leave shampoo and soap, otherwise she'll never do it.
Location, very close to city center.
Poor wifi reception. Needed to sit by the door to make connection.
Extreme good value for money option. Worth a second visit.
The location at a reasonable price.
Place, cleanliness , Windows view , mobility.
Bathroom without mat, hand soap holder, toilette roll holder, hooks. Pillow case very umconfortável ,
This room Another time was goog But this time...
It was impossible to sleep for the noise in the street.
The building is elegant and the location is excellent.
From the pictures you get, you think you have booked a nice room in an elegant palace in the city centre of Madrid. I'm afraid you are wrong. At least, partially. You are in the city centre, the building is elegant but the rooms are horrible and dirty. The price is also not really convenient, given that you are in a hostel and not in a hotel. Last but not least, the good position implies also a "small" disadvantage: people stay out all night long making a lot of noise and this makes almost impossible sleeping a few hours in a row. In a nutshell, we warmly discourage the booking of Hostal Marlasca.
Very good price for this hotel in the center of Madrid. 2 minutes walk to Plaza del sol. That's not a 5 stars of course, but for that price it's a very good choice.
Need to call the reception everytime with a bell to open the hotel entrance gate, that would be great if we could have a key or something.
Nice big rooms with nice bedding and small balcony. modern tv.
The noise from the street from drunk passers by throughout the night
Located in the city center, clean and with nice condition and with a very nice and helpful staff!
1.Location. Advantages of hostal's location are much bigger than disadvantage of that city centre noise. And after all you can buy earplugs. 2.Cleanness of the room. It's very important for me.
1.I don't like big pillows. But it is very particularly
Location, Value for Money, helpful staff, Cleanliness.
Too noisy for the single rooms next to the reception desk. Wifi just sucks.
Love the location as it is central. Near to metros, shopping district and the pallacio. Love the coffee machine at the reception :-)
The door lock was very hard to open. Struggled nearly 15 mins everytime to open the door. Maybe its just our room? And its quite noisy at night due to the surroundings pub
There are very thin walls an this hostal and a very bad soundproofing. And so noisy that it's impossible to sleep!
Location is excellent, staff are friendly.
Rooms are very small and very old fashioned.
