Location, nice view from balcony( sea view), close to the beach, city center

Location is perfect, room is nice. I can reccomend this hotel.

Breakfast: can be improved, every day its almost the same...

We stayaed at the Marsol on Christmas Day and boxing Day and was reasonably priced for those days. The staff were excellent and the facilioties first class. Would certainly stay there again

Scores high on the interior of rooms and cleaniness, menu choice and food quality at all meal times were excellent. Reception staff and room service staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Only a few rooms towards the front of the hotel have a balcony, all other rooms have no balconies with a very restricted view looking out onto very small side roads and very rough looking hotel service areas. Nearby church bell clock chimes can be heard quite loudly in the room throughout 24 hrs, even with the window closed and restricts ones sleep during the night. Bar and Dining room staff could be a little more customer friendly. Complete lack of car parking facilities.

Friendly staff and location

It does not have a health spa by any stretch of the imagination which was why I picked it . freinds I was meeting came from Girona (only with spas some trav elling distance) and Tossa where my other friends are do not know the meaning of Spa!

Position is at the sea with a little park and a street before the sandy beach.

Well, situation is good, but we got a room with a view to the wall of the other house (2 meters....), it could be better asking a sea view... And the house is extremelly noisy which is very good to hear, no sound isolation within the house. This does not concern the sounds from outside, just from the other people, starting when they come home or leave around 7 A.M. Poor for someone who likes to sleep.

Just at the beach!

The surounding is a market, noisy. In the room, it is not quiet enough due to the facility. The parking is away from the hotel, and the parking rate is high, Euro 12 a day!

The location is excellent because it is a very short walk to the beach or into the town centre.

All rooms with the exception of the approximately 10 front rooms face the blank walls of the buildings on either side, this made our room dark and uninviting. The hotel car park entrance is apparently too small to take any cars that are larger than medium size. The alternative is to park on the road nearby(advised by reception not to due to crime) or in the nearest so-called secure car-park and then take the 10 minute walk back to the hotel. Trying to park outside the Marsol the next morning to collect suitcases was almost impossible.

Best location

We stayed for two nights only and it wasn't enough as it was a really lovely place to holiday. The hotel is in a great location directly opposite the beach. I would recommend paying extra for the sea view with balcony as the rooms on the side of the hotel had no balconies and the view wasn't good! (If paying for sea view ask for a room higher than 2nd floor as we were above the kitchen/dining room and it was a bit noisy and although we had a nice sea view it was swamped a bit by a huge palm tree in front of the hotel!). If parking is required I would suggest bookiing the parking at the same time as your room as the hotel only have six spaces available in the carpark around the corner. The hotel charges 12 euros a day but if you have to use the carpark without the hotel reservation the charge is 24 euros a day. (Charges for a week at the carpark works out a bit cheaper than 12 euros a day though) I would definitely go back and use this hotel again as it was ideal across the road from the beach and near all the shops and bars.

The place is a brothel. We had a very room (room 125) at first floor facing to a dirty wall and a dirty balcony of the next building. Except the underware of the owner of that balcony and a lot of garbage stored there, we had no view. Under our window there was a noisy and smelly tavern; to open the window for fresh air or to sleep before 02:00 am was impossible. We had BB and the breakfast was very, very poor. While the guests were eating, the restaurant staff (especially one guy named Domingo) clean the tabels in a very special way: slamming the dishes and make an infernal noise during breakfast time. This is a motel and definitely not a 4* hotel. I do not know how they obtained the 4* category, but they had no idea what a 4* hotel is.

Very close to the beach at lloret de mar, any closer and you'd be sleeping in the sand. Great facilities and also right in the centre of the town with many cafes, shops etc. 5 minute walk from bus station for bus to girona airport. Staff helpful and pleasant and breakfast good.
