Great staff, they were all very professional and friendly. Abundant breakfast but most of the food was disappearing before the last half hour (I guess there were many hungry guests rushing out for breakfast early and eating up all the good things before we, the lazy ones, would even wake up). The bathroom was big and extremely comfortable for me, a small girl, but I suspect someone wider would have had a hard time fitting in the tiny space between the sink and the wall where the toilet was. Silent after dinner time was over. And yes, extremely good location, right in the center, close to the main bus stop and Mercadona. I would definitely stay there again, if I could afford spending offline most of the time. The rooms looked sort of naked without a carpet -- I guess that makes them easier to clean but one needs to have shoes/flip-flops on all the time. The beds were the simple Ikea type, pretty narrow and light, they would move as soon as you touched them. The WiFi was only available in the lobby, not even in the restaurant, so if you need Internet for work -- forget about it, there's always someone around making noise, playing pool, watching TV, just chatting. And they close the lobby at 1am. Also, no chance to leave your devices charging in the room while you're outside because you need to plug your key to turn the electricity on. It's mostly a hotel for relaxing tourists, not a good place for people that need to stay connected all the time.

The staff. The first room, what we got was extremly dirty, stinky from cigarettes, we had a very bad view, with a broken building. We needed to change the room immediately. After half an hour of asking for change, finally we`ve got a bit better room, less dirty, less stinky. The hotel has to be remade, the shower is broken, the style is like in the early 80`s, very cheap, we dont understand the 3 stars, and the high price for all of these. We were only sleeping in the hotel, we didnt spend time there, but it was enough bad to bother us. The buffet is very poor. ?We recommend to go there, if you dont have any other options.

Very frendly staff, good location, cheap. The single room was quite small, but I only stayed one night, so it was ok. I would probably not stay there for a longer vacation.

Nice cosy hotel, with balconies, next to the center. Personnel was very friendly. And they have breakfasts! It was terribly difficult to park a car around there.

Came up from the south of the island to stay in puerto. The staff were very polite and helpfull and had a basic understanding of english/german. Lift access to all floors. Clean bathrom, shower had good pressure and stayed hot througout. Breakfast was good with things to suit everyones nationality. Good location, close to all the bustops and close to the coast. Nice and quite at night. Small tv with channels in spanish and english. The beds were very hard. The pool was miniscule and the corridors were very dark with motion sensor lights so had to dance around quite a lot! Most windows look into other rooms so couldnt really open curtains.

Friendly hotel staff, free wifi in the lobby, good breakfast, comfortable room, location next to the bus station. Great quality for the price. // Дружелюбные сотрудники отеля, бесплатный вайфай в лобби, хороший завтрак, удобная комната, расположение рядом с автостанцией. Отличное качество за такую цену. Wifi is only in the lobby :) // Вайфай только в холле :)

Its location close to the bus station and close to good restaurants was exactly what we wanted. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was noise from the street which interrupted our sleep; we would ask for an internally facing room next time. We had to wait for a table at breakfast time. The breakfast buffet was poor because of the lack of choice of things like wholemeal rolls and yoghurt.

Marte is located very conveniently in Puerto de la Cruz. Like most of that city, the main tourists staying here are Germans close to retirement age (about 70%), Spanish people (20%) and a handful of people from elsewhere (10%). The hotel staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are spotless and cleaned every day. Free wifi is reliable in the common area. The breakfast buffet is generous. It's about ten minutes walk to the sea side, and the central tourist squares and avenues are less than five minutes away. IIt's excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet does not change from day to day - while it includes cereals, milk, pizza, bacon, eggs (fried and boiled), baked beans, grilled tomatoes, toast, bread rolls, cheese, processed ham and sliced sausage, it is surprising that, after a week, this can feel a little limited. The coffee and tea were not great, and the "juices" were really quite unconvincing squashes. Still, these are very minor niggles.

The staff is very kind .The room was clean and enough space.Breakfeast was good except the coffee. Internet was working well but only in the lobby. Good situation. Too much noise because the way the building is made , we could hear a lot of what the other guests were doing even if they were on a different level. Not much air circulation and no air conditioning so we had to keep our windows open (as all the guests ) that is why we heard loud tv , conversations etc If you take that hotel choose well your room ...maybe facing the street is better ..I am not sure about that .

Pluses: location, clean room Minuses: - hotel's next to bus station, which is very uncomfortable if your windows of room are opposite to this place - breakfasts are very poor, everyday the same, fuits: apples, oranges and sometimes bananas, muesli'cornflakes with only cold milk, eggs, fairy bakery, bacon, a la pizza, fried tomatoes and that's it - very small swimming pool (5x5m), but on the terrace with view of the Teide - Wi-fi is avaible in the lobby
