Score from 564 reviews Good
Conveniently situated near motorway.
Restaurant closed on Sunday evening.
Access signing is poor & entrance through underground car park not signed at all
Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean. Not expensive. Near the golfclub.
Old hotel on the wayside of highway. No sea, no beach. Breakfests are poor.
Location quiet ,driving range and good pitch & putt, swimming pool and parking
Security door unreliable ANC wifi variable
-Very adequate parking facilities -Friendly, helpful staff, including restaurant owner who greets you personally -Large comfortable rooms -Good all round facilities -Easy to find from motorway
-Restaurant food is good but somewhat over priced - Experienced problems on 2 occasions getting back onto AP7 motorway (admittedly not the fault of the Hotel) -Hotel is somewhat isolated from Cambrils town and beach
Access to hotel very good; Free big car parking; pool (no need to bring your own towels); good breakfast; calm; réception vert good.
Poor wifi signal but working
The rooms are very big. The bathroom is big also.
The hotel was very nice.. but in the past. Now the furniture is not so fresh. Strange smell in the bathroom. Far away from the beach. No hot dishes on breakfast. On the first floor something strange happened with the floor (it was pressed and was not smooth)
very good as usual
Location, cleanliness, staff and general facilities all in keeping with a rating of this kind.
Hotel restaurant was a little pricy for the quality of food, particularly the main courses which we're disappointingly not very 'Spanish' whereas the starters were very good.
This was a stop-off hotel en route from Southern Spain to the Cote D'Azur. It was right next to the motorway, but we missed it first time around (Sat Nav not precise enough). The staff were very warm, welcoming & friendly. We were worried that we would have traffic noise from the adjacent motorway, even as we walked to our room, but once inside we heard nothing. The room overlooked the swimming pool & gardens and had a lovely balcony. The restaurant served extremely good food and service was friendly & efficient. Thanks to other reviews, we stayed elsewhere on the return leg of our journey, as the restaurant is closed on Sundays.
Lovely hotel with huge room and bathroom , both we'll appointed . It was very close to a busy road but due to efficient double glazing this was a bonus ( for access ) rather than detrimental . We ate at the restaurant , which apparently had been in existence for 50 years . The food was excellent and beautifully presented . I had my Spanish treat , a jug of sangria , which I generously shared with my husband . At the end of the meal the owner of the hotel/restaurant came round and greeted all the guests . A nice touch which has sadly disappeared in most places .
All was excellent .
staff great , rooms first class , quite, great balcony area and view , will use again .
swimming pool locked
Great room and no noise so we got a good nights sleep. Had dinner at their restaurant and meal was great and owner and staff there were just wonderful.
We have been there before and were pleased to know that they knew about our last visit. The staff have not changed and the service was good.
The breakfast area is poor and should be improved. This was the Easter weekend and the hotel had not provision for larger number of guests. It was difficult to get to the breakfast counter which is located in a tiny corner and because there were many people wanting to serve themselves
We liked the generously sized rooms and balconies. We were travelling back to the uk having spent some time in Southern Spain and this was a very convenient stop literally adjacent to the motorway but without the noise.Reception were welcoming and we booked in with the minimum of fuss.
Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday to find that the restaurant and bar did not open on Sundays at this time of the year. We went in search of a place to eat but did not find anything within a couple of miles so returned to our room to consume a few things left over from our picnic from our journey. We also were able to make our own coffee. There was no mention ofthe closure in anything we saw when booking. Spoiled an otherwise good experience.
