Extremely well run small hotel, helpful staff although not much English was spoken. The owners pay a lot of attention to detail. Very nice breakfast. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Under cover car parking on site.
A charming welcoming and warm hotel in Salardu. The view was amazing as we were in a picture. We had the junior suite that was very impressive. The hotel and room was clean, comfortable and well decorated. The warm hospitality of the owner was a real pleasure. She was very helpful regarding what to see where to visit and where to eat. Breakfast was tasty and with a variety of dishes to choose.
This was our first stop in the Pyrenees coming in from France and it was a perfect stop. From the moment we walked in the lady at the front desk was extremely nice (spoke no English, so some Spanish will come in handy.) Hotel Mauberme has a very homey, cozy feel, and just a short walk out of the village for a very quiet night's stay. Our balcony room overlooked the gorgeous mountains, and the river below offered a pleasant soothing sound. The room had a cabin feel, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom had a tub and bidet. The breakfast was plentiful with freshly cooked eggs and bacon and lots of other offerings on the buffet. I highly recommend Hotel Mauberme.
Excellent straff. Nice breakfast although we were (almost) the only ones at the hotel.
During out stay in July not much is happening in the village, but I guess that will be different in the winter time.
We loved this Hotel. The common areas were relaxing and comfortable. The room was comfortable and had amazing views of the mountains. A welcome drink was well received. Although we do not speak Spanish (our fault) we speak French and so did our host. Breakfast was very good but too much food.
Because it was off season all the local restaurants were closed - but - we found a wonderful Tapas Bar / Restaurant in neighbouring Arties, 5 minutes away.
