We stayed at the Esmeraldas in a family room as four adults and we found the room was very good and clean, maybe a little dated. One night we had very noisey neighbours about 4.30 am but apart from that night we found that the Esmeraldas was really a good hotel to stay in. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. The food was excellant, breakfasts were brilliant, loads of choice and evening dinner was the best choice, with so many choices to choose from. We thought the food was as good as a four star hotel. A very relaxed atmospere all round and we would definately go there again. Could do with some sunbed cushions, pool was a tad smaller than we thought it would be from the photo on the internet.

There is a good choice for you if the seaview is not very important. Not great hotel, but kitchen and bathroom are convenient, there is big balcony where you can take breakfast or dinner. Also there is a restaurant opening at 8 A.M. Staff was not very hospitable, but tried to help if necessary. Hotel's parking is expensive but we always could find a place near (Lope Mateo street). There is just several minutes from the beach, also there are two supermarkets near. Heard some party with animation one night from the hall but didn't take part in it.

the staff were very friendly and the hotel I think exceeded its star rating. The basic accommodation is adequate and the service is excellent. The location the town centre is good, not too far but just far enough. We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you the lack of evening entertainment

The concept of an apart hotel was new to me, but it is a great idea and I would recommend it to anyone. The hotel is set in a quiet location, the pool is fine for kids but really just a plunge pool, the beach at the furthest point is the best and a great place to go off scuba diving. The food was good and there was plenty of choice. We had a great 4 days despite overcast weather and I loved tossa, so authentic and typically spanish. The pool is too small for adults but fine for kids, best to go to the gorgeous beaches.

The Hotel has very good location for my opinion (for family stay with small kid). It is located practically in residental area. You are living like a common citizen. Ghildren's playground is situated by neer. The nearest streets are very calm. We were very pleased by the food on breakfast and supper and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Also kitchen in the room is very convenient. Old furniture in the room and absense of hairdryer.

Perfect location, excellent staff (Alex is such a sweet and helpful guy, all of the staff behind the desk deserve compliments for their kindness and service), appartments are basic but comfortabble and he beach is only 5 mins away! Also when you are picked up late from the hotel at the day of departure, there is a luggageroom and perfect facilities to get a shower before you get to the airport. Breakfast is good, but very, very crowded, noisy and busy when the hotel is full. For the same price or less you can have breakfast on the way to the beach.

Plassering av balkong. Så soloppgangen og solnedgangen, hadde utsikt til basseng med grøntanlegg og litt av byen. Heisene var ekstremt små! Bare flaks at barnevogna (Quinni M. 3 hjul) fikk plass inne I heisen, og det var kun fordi håndtaket på vogna kunne slås helt ned. Måtte ta av stellebag for å få plass, og kun en person fikk plass I tillegg til vogn (hvis man presset seg inn sidelengs og lente seg over vogna).Sengene var forferdelige. Gamle madrasser med ødelagte fjærer. Badene var ikke så bra. Kranen I dusjen var ødelagt og det var dårlig utlufting/ ingen vifte. Dårlig plass på badet mht stell av spebarn. Ikke noe utstyr for å vaske opp på kjøkkenet. Måtte kjøpe kluter, oppvaskbørste og såpe selv. Ganske gammelt og slitt kjøkken. Dårlig planløsning på stue og ekstremt liten tv. Litt trist sted å oppholde seg etter at barn har lagt seg... Men balkongen reddet kveldene for der var det koselig å sitte (iallfall for 2, fler hadde nok blitt litt trangt)! Ps: vi hadde rom vendt mot bassenget.

La superficie de la chambre et la salle de bain sont les plus de cet hotel qui comme beaucoup d'établissements de la costa brava aurait besoin d'une bonne rénovation mais n'est-ce pas là le charme de cet endroit... Mauvaise insonorisation, piscine trop petite et demi pension inutile car les produits servis au self le soir ne sont pas bons..

Personnel très sympa. Appartement agréable et bien équipé. Piscine suffisamment grande. Repas variés et bien préparés. Proximité de la plage et des commerces. Calme du quartier. Seul défaut: les matelas étaient trop dur pour nous, mais les enfants, eux, ont bien dormi. J'ai aussi regretté qu'il n'y est que trop peu de spécialités espagnoles en cuisine.

Super sejour avec les enfants! Endroit à recommender vu le rapport qualité/ prix. Super accueil,les buffet tres copieux et équilibrés,la propeté rien à dire .a tres bientot!!! L insonorisation des chambres , normal pour ces constructions des années 70 !!!

la situation géographique de l'hotel et le quartier sympa dans lequel il se trouve. la propreté des pièces laisse à désirer. Le sol était si sale que l'on mettait des claquettes pour ne pas avoir les pieds noirs et le reste était très sale.

La amabilidad del personal. No. En general, todo ha estado, al menos, correcto. Está un poco alejado de la playa (5-10 m. paseando), cosa que dificilmente se puede cambiar. En contrapartida, eso hace que la zona sea muy tranquila. Quizá la piscina es un poco pequeña, aunque suficiente para un chapuzón.
