I liked this hotel. My room was a bit smaller than an average room but I was travelling alone so it was fine. The atmosphere from outside looked beautiful. In the roomsand hallway, very dingy
Rooms and hallway especially that looked very dingy
Personnel was very good and helpful except the first night at the reception where the gentleman seemed perturbed by our arrival. WiFi was nearly useless. We were told it was due to electrical work outside the hotel. The bed was very very hard and short. I'm 181 cm/5' 11" and my feet stuck out over the end.
Great location and the deal we got gave us great value.
Across street from Atocha rail station. About 1 mile walking to main squares, restaurants and shopping. Very safe area. Across from main park.
Didn't bother me, but there is road noise outside window overlooking train station.
Bedroom, bathroom very clean and warm. Although basic a fridge, free safe, and free wifi included. Great value for money and location superb if using Atacha Railway Station.
Everything was fine.
Location and staff
food - poor breakfast comparing to price
It was a single room, but a tiny single room, uncomfortable and overpriced.
location right across from train station quick check-in and out staff was friendly and professional bathroom was flawless and big! perfect for a quick overnight before catching the train
wifi was really difficult to initially connect to, and when i finally connected it was a bit slow
Location and large double-aspect room
room was quiet and enough for one, wifi works very well. Staff were really friendly and helps easily, smiling too, nice
breakfast was too simply for price
We chose the hotel because it was very close to Madrid Atocha Train station. Beautiful (1930's?) old white building with traditional elevator. Our room was large with a balcony facing the Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum. The bathroom was huge and very well laid-out. The beds were firm and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had planned to go to football club Real Madrid's stadium by train, but Alejandro suggested that we ride the No. 27 bus, which was a more direct and scenic route. Thanks for that! The staff were also able to recommend a great restaurant to eat dinner that evening. They even helped organize a minivan to take us to the Airport early the next morning. Brilliant!
We chose this hotel as an overnight stop due to close proximity to Atocha renfe station. Hotel is ok, dated but clean. This would not be our 1st choice had we not needed to be close to renfe for early train.
It was all ok
The helpful staff
Wi-fi connection. The matresss.
Very clean, great location
Having to reconnect constantly to WiFi was not pleasant and added unnecessary charges to my roaming charge
We were on the sixth flour overlooking the square. Great view, but sometimes noisy. Was a 10 min. walk from the train station.
Breakfast was not part of the reservation and the price seemed a little high for the quality. All of Barcelona seemed high.
All the staffs and the building.
For a 8 Euro breadfast it could be a little bit more better.
Very close to station which we needed for our connection.
Not a great location for seeing the better side of Madrid. Hotel needs modernising
Location, staff, bathroom
Most of it
Infront of hotel was a taxi stop 24h. Bus stop is close too and metro 10 meter away.Nice tapas bar in the corner and plenty of food places. Fast check in /check out and Excellent helpfull staff.
location to the train was excellent, right across the street. The hotel was a bit dated, but in good shape. Room was small but was comfortable. Restaurants were close as was the historic areas. Would stay there again.
Near the Atocha station
Seconds away from Metro stadion, Jamon store, churros & coffee shop, Casa Luciano Restaurant with great food and decent prices. Strong, fast wifi, friendly staff, clean hotel. Short walk away from Retiro Park, Prado Museum.
I'm not sure that prices are as convenient during high season since the location of the hotel is quite good. Rooms are small, hallways are paved with tiles and the impression is that of a student dormitory.
All was good.
The stuff should smile more. They should also employ someone with a better command of English.
Location of hotel being across road from Attocha railway station is excellent.
