Perfect location close to everything you expect to see in Alicante. Very friendly and efficient staff. Free Wi-Fi in the room. A hotel whithout lobby can hardly be in four star category. Doubble room with only one (!) chair. No separate towels for the bidet. We had a small room overlooking the nice plaza - I guess that the rooms facing the small street must be dull and depressing. The rather plain breakfast becomes monotonous after three days - we stayed nine! Generally - not more than 3 stars!

It was in a very good location near to restaurants beach marina and in the old square of the town. However the rooms were not good for storage space and although we upgraded to a better room the balcony furniture was very battered and it was only average for the price etc. The main drawback was the noise at night for the area attracted all types of heavy drinkers and the noise was very loud - at best until 2.30 am and on the Saturday night all night, even at 6 am. For this reason we would not stay there again. I appreciate that Alicante has to provide a balance but there was no control over the very rowdy late night drinkers. Also the hotel not having a bar or lounge facilities could be a disadvantage if the weather was poor and although there were three cafe/restaurants outside the hotel this could be a problem in poor weather. Just the noise and the lack of hotel facilities.

Clean & tidy Hotel in Excellent location for Shops/Restaurants/Transport/Beach. Little in the way of facilities but in a very central , convenient location. Rooms very comfortable & clean. Basically a good 3 star Hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful. Very small reception area & no facilities for relaxing in a lounge or bar within the Hotel.

The situation of the place is perfect. Town centre is very close to the beach side. The staff of the hotel is very helpful, although facilities in the room doesn't really suite for 4 stars hotel. Beautiful place and friendly staff make this hotel comfortable and the stay enjoyable.Would come back there with pleasure. Was surprised that a tea tray with hot drinks and a kettle were missing(not likely for 4 stars)

I am a regular at this hotel and it never fails to please me. The location in the heart of the old town with views of the beautiful town hall building and the castle beyond. Nothing, but I no longer have breakfast there as I cannot eat 14€ worth of breakfast to make it worthwhile. There are at least 3 cafés in the square for a sunny tostada and coffee breakfast for 3 or 4€.

Beautifully situated within the old town overlooking the square Lovely balcony and seating area Room offered both heating and air conditioning I requested a top floor room - and got one! Option for breakfast Enormous bed A little bit noisy - seemed to be people moving chairs and tables on the sauna level overnight My daughter's room leaked water through the ceiling overnight before we checked out

The location was excellent, in the old town and sited in a pretty square with a view of the Castle and fountains that light up & change colour at night. The harbour & beach are minutes away, the shops are a 5/10 mins walk away. The old town was right on your doorstep, to wander around. The hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly and we had a room overlooking the square, it was a great holiday.

Lovely, friendly, spotlessly clean hotel situated in the old town. Located on the town hall plaza with fountains in front and a roof top terrace overlooking the town hall & castle. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, airport bus and coastal tram stop. Large rooms & large comfortable beds. Many bars, cafe's and restaurants nearby. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Perfect location. Room was big enough. Slept really well all 3 nights, bed was firm, but we loved it. Our window with french balcony was to plaza, we stayed saturday night also, but if you close window propetly, noise will not disturbe you.Staff was very friendly.Breakfast was very good.Out of topic:We are in love with Alicante. lots of tapas bars and restaurants 1-3 minutes walk from hotel.

The staff were extremely welcoming to their hotel. Rooms were comfortable with a good choice for a continental breakfast. Fantastic location, close to the beach/promenade/marina and a short stroll takes you to both the old town and the many shops. Overall we had a fantastic short break & we were all surprised what Alicante had to offer.

In one of the main squares in Alicante, also near the beach and port. Very confortable, and good value for money. In the winter it is a very quiet location. We have stayed there previously in the summer, where, certainly at weekends, the square is a central point for partying kids until dawn.

It's location was central but quiet.Room was of good size and quality with comfortable beds and air conditioned.Breakfasts were very good choice of quality food.Staff were friendly. I was annoyed that the "free" internet was "broken" throughout our 4 day stay and appeared to be staying that way-this was one of the main reasons I chose to stay at this hotel.I Was also annoyed that the "free" sauna was also "broken" and also appeared to be staying that way- I suspected these items had been simply disconnected for the low season. Some of the gym equipment was defective. There was no English channels on the tv and only Spanish newspapers available yet many guests were English. There was a shortage of nearby parking.

Lovely dignified hotel in main square but just across a main road from marina and beach. Our room on 2nd floor overlooking square and Castle. We were there in February so all very quiet, could imagine in season it gets quite noisy. Our only criticism was how cold the room was. There was a heating adjusting dial in the room but it just didn't seem to have any effect. We were actually cold at night and put all available covers from cupboards on bed. Appreciate it was unusually cold spell for the area but really detracted from the experience to be so cold. Breakfast room with delicious choices, not massive spread as it is a smallish hotel but all ideal and we looked forward to it each morning. Freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh flaky pastries, bacon and scrambled egss and lots more. Friendly lady. No other meals in hotel as no restaurant, but small one next door which seemed to have some relationship with hotel. No problem as lots within short stroll. Tip: Take lift to 6th floor and walk up last few steps to roof where you can sit comfortably in the sun and look out at square and Castle of Santa Barbara. Just the temperature of the room, which was one of those freaky things not likely to matter to anyone else as weather warms up. Indeed before we left then room was modestly temperate.
