Hotel and surrounding gardens/pool were beautiful and very very clean. Ideal for couples families and groups. Comfortable room, excellent maid service.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room :(
Hotel was lovely and clean and pool was excellent
Reported the fridge not working for the first 3 days of my stay. Bed was about a comfortable as sleeping on the floor!
Went to the bar in the lounge off reception, asked for a glass of ice, was asked for 50cent, was disgusted at the charge, also paid over 900 euros for 7 night stay, with no breakfast included and had to pay for wifi.. Very unhappy..
Poor room cleanliness. Unfriendly staff and extremely slow. Not up to four star standard.
Nice Gardens and Pool Area
Poor Customer Service Poor and expensive parking facilities Poor Breakfast, boast that its the best in Benidorm. Someone needs a wake up call. Poor condition of so called superior room. Balcony railing loose, very easy for a child to fall over. I live in London and would have got better value from a genuine 4 star in London for the same price as I paid for Benidorm !
Beautiful hotel only downside I'd not being able to book all inclusive for less than five days which spoilt it for friends we were joining
No inclusive available for one night
Room view cleanliness pool area staff
Hard beds and pillows
Close to the Benidorm Palace. Parking was good but expensive. Good choice for breakfast. Quite but then the hotel was not very full.
We had a reservation for two rooms and parking. It was raining heavily when we arrived, we pulled into the hotel and was met by a very rude and aggressive member of staff who refused to allow us to stop and register. We were told to go to a supermarket car park and walk back in the rain. We had to pay for the rooms without sight and in advance. The glasses in the rooms were dirty and not replaced during our stay. One room had a shower that would not maintain the temperature, the towels were threadbare, the soap dispenser fell apart and the patio door would not lock. We booked the "last two rooms that were available at this price" only to find that they were around £50.00 cheaper nearer our dates. So if you do book keep an eye on the prices and use the cancellation option and book at the lowest price.
location room cleaned every day you don't need to pay for meals in the hotel if you don't want to the bars just outside are so cheap just a few minutes walk down to the beach lots of shops to look at on the way down
the hotel needs to keep the hen and stag parties out or it will soon get a bad name
Rooms are ok if you don't want sleep. The noise of moving furniture and high heels clomping till 4.30 am let's this hotel down.
Noise noise noise
Not a lot. The manager was willing to deal with complaint and did offer a change of room This was supposed to be a wedding anniversary treat!!!!!
Very dissapionted, have stayed in other Melia hotels and this is deffinately not up to 4 star rating. Bath was chipped and patched, Radiator was dripping wet and water was running from it across the floor. Not as clean as others. Breakfast lay out very spread out across the dinning room food was not hot.
We wanted and liked the proximity to the Benidorm Palace. The hotel is also within walking distance of the beach. The breakfast was typical of the Meliá - very good and plenty of choices. The staff were very friendly.
What's not to like?
a great hotel with excellent services.
The location was a little too far from the beach for our liking and the sea views were lacking.
Beautiful clean and lush building.
Though clean, it did not live up to its four star status, everything was just ok. A quite expensive night just to be ok.
View from hotel very good. Very comfortable bed. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Bus for other locations right outside hotel.
The staff were very very helpful and the breakfast/meals were well presentable and very enjoyable
The bed we found was very very hard and the pillows are not what we expected they are unlike our english ones..when in rome do as the romans do as they say.
nice atmosphere friendly staff impressive design on the outskirts of town but easy to get into town
room not clean
The breakfast offer was superb. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. A short taxi into the main town for the evening entertainment. The hotel had a feel of quality and gave value for money.
The bar seemed to close a little early!! The hotel Wifi code could only be given if you were to fill in some long winded form!! When I called the Melia they claimed to be apart of the Wyndham rewards points group - but when I called Wyndham to book they informed me that they were not!!
The room was good, and the comunial areas were OK
The entertainment bar music was far too loud. The cost of the Xmas day buffet was far too expensive per person at 90 euros. We expected to be served on Xmas day,I feel that a refund from Melia group would be acceptable, can we please apply for it via booking.com
Clean room. Despite the size of the hotel you did not have to wait too long for a lift. Parking.
To many mobility scooters inside the hotel being used by people who probably didn't need one.
Hotel reception and public areas are very attractive, lovely gardens and outside pool. The Spa and indoor pool is also very nice. However rooms are a bit tired and dont appear to havebeen updated since we were last there in 2004
Our party of 10 had dinner in the restaurant on the first night of our short break.Food , which was buffet style ,was very uninspiring, roastlamb sold out so we decided on steak. Virtually inedible ,tough stringy and very disappointing. Management response......you should have tried something else! Poor value for € 22.70 especially in Benidorm where competion is so fierce.
Breakfast was very good and comprehensive. Dinner was excellent
Using a different lift to get to the car park
