The spa and modern room
Breakfast good Position in relation to musea , central Madrid shop+ touristic sites, Tapas bars, etc., excellent
Noise in the square from late night revellers.
Friendly staff, great well equipped room. Lovely to have a balcony.
Hotel location was terrific. Downstairs were taxis (if needed) and lots of restaurants in the square. The room was smaller than expected but sufficient and recently updated - no complaints from me.
Stylish, excellent bed and pillows , excellent location
No bath, no view
location style and lounge
regular rooms pretty small
Location Great old building-completely modernized Room had great view-huge windows Very modern and clean Helpful staff
Computer and printer downstairs didn't work well.
Central position, bed comfy, and breakfast excellent - with lovely breakfast staff.
Over-priced, pathetic attempt at stylish - result was beige and soulless. Everything electronic in the room - control panel v tiny characters so hard to see with average eyesight. Never worked out how to turn on shower. Worst was grimy control panel [simple wipe got rid of the brown smears] and hairs everywhere. Your 'view' could easily be an internal courtyard which was never mentioned when we booked. Roof terrace was like an airport waiting room with high glass walls and huge umbrellas so you had no feeling you were outside. Also hard brown banquettes not comfy. No atmosphere at this hotel, not clean, sense of being in an airport hotel, and hugely overpriced.
You really should warn people the rooftop may not be available. It was a big reason why we chose the hotel and quite disappointing to find out we could not access it.
This hotel has everything - gorgeous rooms, fantastic staff, superb food and great location. We would definitely recommend it.
The location is great. Excellent reception staff. The building looks great especially at night. Lot of good restaurants in the square right opposite.
The rooms are stupidly small. I had read some reviews regarding that fact but seeing is believing. They are tiny. The washroom was probably bigger than the room we got.
Well-designed, stylish rooms Good beds and nice bathrooms Great location for sight-seeing and eating
Leisure centre was next-door and did not have a pool Occasional noise from street in the early hours of the morning
Excellent location, close to Jazz bars, tapas bar, young crowd,...
The towels were a little bit old, everything else was very good
Roof top restaurant and bar, location and service.
Room was small, only just enough room to get around the bed. No complimentary water, which is poor considering the cost.
sleeping comfort, bathroom, mini bar, breakfast, restaurant, roof terrace
room very small, roof terrace service very poor
Location is brilliant for seeing madrid both day and night and the roof bar has spectacular views of the city at night!!!
Rooms were a bit small but we didn't spend all that much time in them and they were very nice nonetheless
rooms were a bit small
- The amenities are very cool with things like "mood lighting" and speakers for music - Our room also had several different types of outlets which was helpful since we didn't take a converter - Rooftop bar is really cool at night with a DJ and good views of the nearby square - Several great places for tapas all around the hotel and it's relatively close to a few metro stops
- Felt a bit pricey relative to other places we stayed in Europe - The front desk area felt a bit lightly staffed when we arrived as there was only one person checking people in and out despite them having adequate space for more staffmembers
Location on Plaza Santa Ana. Comfortable bed. Beautiful room over Plaza. Wonderful staff. Great breakfasts.
Wi-Fi very difficult to use -- kept stopping after each use. In contrast at next hotel in Salamanca, the Wi-Fi is perfect.
Location was great. Room was very nice.
The atmosphere. Location
The standard room is very small and depressing The facilities are ok but no view at all room very u small Did not enjoy the stay in the room
I liked the location and the decor.
I booked a suite and it was hardly one...so tiny and oddly laid out. I could barely move with ease! The rooms were a huge disappointment.
Location & bed
stuff, room rates are overpriced
excellent location right on Sant Ana square with wonderful balcony view wonderful staff, upgraded me to suite at no additional charges wonderful rooftop restaurant Wifi is very fast and unlimited device access room is clean and well organized very comfortable stay great value considering location and time of the year-tourism season
It was difficult to find my way from elevator to room and vice-verse with confusing/misleading signs. Furniture has many sharp edges (typical for Spanish designs) Four elevators are small and often full load Spotted some cockroaches in lobby Carpet in corridors is outdated, I recommend replacing it with Spanish marbles to better fit the ambiance Hot water problem--very often the hot water is intermittent which seems to be common in Spain hotels
