WI-FI VERY POOR, I STAY in premier room
the hastle with WIFI
Situated in a great location, right on the beach. Nice room with a sea view. Breakfast was great with such a choice. Well worth a stay.
My wife and I love staying here, everything about it ticks all the boxes. If you worry about your waistline stay away from the FANTASTIC choice at breakfast. This Hotel is well worth a visit.
The Level Experience
The pool is very limited so therefor u do need to go to the beach. This can work out expensive for hire of sunbeds and umbrellas.
evening food no good for english
Views of marina and beach on either side. efficient, quiet AC. Modern décor. Good variety at breakfast.
Only stayed one night.
Location was excellent and the 5th floor adult only was good idea with tapas and drinks in lounge included in price
Location and breakfast
Excellent location. Hotel was so clean. Food was excellent & the restaurants were extremely clean.
Lifts were slow & wifi pick up in room was not good.
Location, staff, food, value for money...all excellent. Always feel well looked after, well fed and relaxed. Close to beach and town center.
Some decor and rooms are starting to look tired and old and in need of update/re-vamp. Our balcony railing was crumbling and shaky, the carpet was worn and had a couple of stains. Only minor but noticeable.
View from the level bar
Great central location. Right on the beach one side and overlooking the marina on the other side. We stayed on " The Level" with free minibar and separate lounge for coffee and breakfast. All alcohol free at this bar until 10.30pm. Champagne overlooking the sea and watching the sunset- wonderful!!!
All soft drinks in the minibar were full sugar. Need more tables in the level bar. Food in the level lounge needs to be hotter.
The bed was very comfartable
Poor room service
Rooms were lovely. Meals beautiful. We had half board included in price. Pool was nice.
Lift system was hopeless. 10 minute waits were normal. We used the stairs often but if you have bad knees and are tired you need to use a lift.
Our view was spectacular. Breakfast was a feast of epic choices. Huge comfortable bed. Best location in Alicante.
Bad pillows. Some front desk staff had limited English so were unable to help with requests. (We were sorry we didn't speak any Spanish) Noisy and VERY busy dining room at breakfast but worth the wait.
The Melia has a great location next to the port and a few minutes walk to many restaurants. The room we occupied had a fantastic view overlooking the beach. We'd stayed on the level which has its own private reception, breakfast area and bar. Staying on the level has a number of additional benefits Which include free room mini bar and private drinks area Well worth the additional cost The staff were very helpful. The Melia has a good swimming Pool and sun area. If you drive public parking is available ether side of the hotel We will definitely recommend the Melia Alicante.
Price.... 41 beds around the pool and over 1000 guests...
Sea views are beautiful. Lovely location. Staff very very friendly especially in main breakfast room excellent service for coffee as soon as you sat down. All round lovely hotel. I have stayed there 5 times now
Bedroom was so far away so a lot of walking to the level room for a drink. Coffee machine in level day room always out of milk. Snacks to eat in day room was very very scattered and empty on lots of occasions compared to previous stays
Area location, facilities, Room....
Staff not friendly
Excellent Location, excellent half board nice room with view
Pool and pool area nice, but too small for the hotel size. Over crowded, as sun moves through the day, one need to keep moving recliner chairs to follow the sun. Elevators too small and slow for size of hotel. Wifi is free, but weak signal and slow
Parking is expensive
Clean Good Breakfast Great location lovely bit of luxury Daily beach towels free of charge Spacious room
Pool area too small for number of guests, too few sun beds and pool physically too small, other guests reserved beds at 7am with towels despite the hotel stating this was not allowed. We were half board but evening meal was poor quality and not worth the money we paid, we actually ate out every night, did ask to go to B&B rate but were not allowed.
Best location. Clean. Quiet. Lovely breakfast.
Russian girl at the front desk - Elena Karzhavina. Why does one want to hire a Russian girl? It supposed that she will help Russians. In fact, Elena extorts money for any free hotel service. Not friendly at all. Do not go to Elena, go to any other person at the front desk instead. The rest of the staff is great.
