Had a fantastic time with the Romantic Package - great value for money!

Starting to get a bit outdated, especially the 70s style carpet on the landings.

Linoleum floor in room, noise.

Good location for business are. Not bad for restaurants in area. Airport shuttle bus is excellent

Location of the hotel is in an industrial area. There is no shopping place around. You need to take taxi to go to any shopping, and other after work activity

I asked for views to the park. It was not allow under the Booking rate and they gave me a room to a collateral street in front of the convenction building, property also of the Hotel. Saturday night a big wedding in the convenction hall with loud music until 03.00 in the morning. Apparently no isolation in both buildings and it was very difficult to sleep. I called to reception and nothing happened. Conclusion, an uncomfortable stay, and be sure there is not a wedding in front of your room ...

Very lovely on reception, and a very comfy, nice designed room.

There was a waitress/ manager of the piano bar, seemed so serious and stressed, and not very hospitable, You should make light conversation, smile, and nothing should seem like too much trouble, no matter how much work you have to do. I am from a hospitality family. Also a little confusing using the spa. and to be locked in there with 2 men, as a single female traveller, you feel disconnected from the staff. Also having to walk through reception in your towel. Normally places i go have direct access to a lift, and the rooms.

Efficient piano bar serving light meals throughout the day

Lengthy delay on airport shuttle on arrival - you need to ring the hotel to arrange pick up. Bath plug missing. TV programmes did not match information in service directory.

Its got one of the best gym and spa's in Madrid - trust me I've checked and stayed in enough other hotels there! Spa is really lovely and the gym is properly stocked with a choice of free weights - not some little rack up to 10kg bells only, and both weight and cardio machines. Its a proper gym - not a few bits in a room. Food is good and breakfast fine if a little basic. Price was fantastic for the time of year (Sept). Great location if you are in need of the airport

If you don't need the airport this is not the right location - its too far out of town and a taxi in will cost you a minimum 10 euros but more likely 15 (each way). So better to stay in a closer hotel then - try the Silken Puerta America - a bit closer (though not much) but a funky hotel, but without a proper gym. The Melia Avenida is used for a lot of weddings. Nice bar, clean big rooms, good room service menu and overall not much I didn't like

Very modern with very nice furnishings. Service to/from the airport was excellent.

I chose this hotel because the location, I was visiting fam,ily that live 3 minutes walk away. The free tranfers from and to the airport were very convinient too!! Will definately go back!

The bed was so soft Price changes everyday only valuable when its under 70euro range

We were staying at the 3e non smoking floor the floor was from wood and cracked so in the morning you hear all people walking down the hall, position of hotel is very bad but free parking all around that was for us perfect

Proximity to the airport was good. The Staff in the Spa were friendly and really helped us.

The staff weren't very helpful. I missed the so called free shuttle bus 2 times. I had to pay for a taxi as I was going to miss my flight otherwise. It seems like pilots take priority although they aren't the only ones with flights to catch! I would not recommend this place unless you can speak fluent spanish!

The location and price

Relatively close to the airport and there are some shopping/eating places nearby, but it's certainly not a centrally located hotel. Staff is in general friendly and helpful, rooms are good size and well equipped, internet is free, breakfast is rich and the price is right. There's a good spa, worth the time.

Bathroom is ridiculous. Not only there's a clear glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom, with the blinds on the bedroom side (free show), but the water tap has some stupid cap for water economy which sprinkles water everywhere, so the only way to wash hands is either naked, or wash the clothes you're wearing at the same time. Maybe this could work, but not with the small, flat-bottomed sink it's paired with. The toilet bowl has a similar feature: when flushing, it splashes the water out of it, so need to be careful.

Closed to airport with transportation. Also a bus stop in front of hotel to to city plazas.

The staff in the restaurant were very attentive.

We had specifically booked for a "romantic break" and booked a room with a queen sized bed, which turned out to be two seperate beds! I had asked not to be on a floor higher than the fourth and was put on the fifth. There seemed to be a lot of families with young children who allowed their children to run up and down the corridors shouting and crying. I will not be returning to this hotel!
