Comfortable bed, spacious room, large bathroom
Dark, fire alarms in middle of night, had to evacuate, scary
Close to Guggenheim
Great location, less than 10 mins walk to the Guggenheim, close to shops and restaurants.
Very close to Guggenheim museum
Room very basic and not as clean as you would expect. Trams & trains outside room were noisy as room not double glazed.
Well located for the Guggenheim. Large modern hotel, bedroom was ver modern, very comfortable bed and a beautiful bathroom.
A/C did not seem very effective.
Staff were lovley
Location, funky pool on 6th tloor open to the elements, sauna, gym, lovely room with balcony, funky environment in general. Nice bath products
Bar tries to be uber cool and fails, its not Hoxton loves, so its not friendly and welcoming to ordinary folk either. Very poor selection of bar food on offer.
This hotel is ideally situated for exploring Bilbao. The hotel itself was immaculately presented and we enjoyed staying in a modern, spacious room with an excellent bathroom. The staff were friendly and happy to help.
There was a slight delay during both check in and check out, this could have been easily solved by having more staff at peak times.
Every morning we were looking forward to the breakfast. Vast choice of food provides choice even during longer stays. Rooms are spacious, we had a terras so we could drink some Cava outside (6th floor). All this at a very reasonable price, at walking distance from the Guggenheim. Look no further!
There's an expresso machine in the room that delivers "hot water" if you want to make tea. It's really not hot enough to make decent tea, not even green tea. And at breakfast the water provided for tea isn't warm enough either. This is the only downside for this splendid hotel...
This large, modern hotel was on the river with a clean bike and walking path. It was walking distance to the Guggenheim Museum and right next to the tram to get to the casco viejo. The staff was very helpful and I had a great night's sleep in a quiet, comfortable room.
Minor, but the room could have used a fresh coat of paint...
Very close to shopping centre
Could not get anything to eat in hotel juring the day
Great location for visiting the art museums
Location a bit too far from old town
Needs a lick of paint
service; no concierge, rude restaurant personnel, slow reception process
The location is great, pool, sauna etc. a nice add-on. Room was amazing.
Check-in and check-out process took very long.
Excellent breakfast (not free though)
Non smoking room tobacco-impregnated & staff barely courteous
One of the staff was helpful is giving me a map of the area. Honestly, that's all that was good
We were supposed to stay at the hotel for 2 nights but because we had such a horrible experience, we left after one night. The room reeked of cigarette smoke in a non smoking hotel. We discovered the guests directly below our room were smoking and the staff seemed neither to care nor to provide us with some kind of solution. In addition, this hotel is not in a great location- far away from most sites. There are much better options closer. In addition, I was charged for breakfast even though we left at 5:30am before breakfast even started. The staff were rude and unhelpful. No compensation was offered for our terrible experience. Plus there was a festival going on and loud music was blaring into our room until 2am. Will not return to Bilbao, ever...
Location was excellent for the Guggenheim. Swimming pool and spa facility was bonus
Cost of breakfasts1
It was all good. Beds really comfortable
Car parking not easy
Great position for walking, catching a tram or bus in to centre. Nice to be near river and the Guggenheim. Our 6 year old love the pool and her bed!
Quality of food in restaurant, nice room with good view on the river and esplanade. The location of the hotel is also good - pretty close to the key points of the city.
Didn't stay too long to see some disadvantages. May be - automatic minibar (it was pretty hard to use it just like fridge to store some bakery, which I bought at local pastry).
A line to the breakfast. But all service was extreamly good and helpful.
We had a great view over Bilbao from our 6 th floor room. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Guggenheim museum.
I was unable to get wi fi connection on O2 network.
Swimming pool was a nice touch.. to swim outside at night whilst seeing the beautiful views of the city and mountains was fantastic. Staff after check in were friendly.
on arrival to the hotel we waited for a couple to get into the lift from the carpark.. this couple then ran out of the lift to the check in desk when we arrived before them. They then realised they had left the confirmation in the car so the husband had to go back and get it.. so anyone with common sense would say.. "I`ll serve this couple behind you while you get your confirmation" no.. the woman on the check in desk just started talking about the weather to the woman who pushed infront of us.. after a 10 minute wait he came back with his confirmation. There were also Americans staying in the hotel and whilst some were also checking in some where obviously already staying in the hotel, so they came down to reception to say hello to their relatives.. ok, but please don`t do this in front of the check in desk.. they came down moved our cases and One woman even knocked my girlfriends handbag onto the floor and did`nt even say anything. Very Very Rude and loud people.. hotel staff did`nt say a thing. It`s a 40 minute walk to the old town.. all in all.. Won`t be staying here again.
