Melia Granada  

Location - walking distance to city centre but in a quiet street. Medium size with friendly, knowledgeable staff. If your lucky you can park in a side street and save money on car parking. The Sangria was very good. Local cafe for good quality breakfast. Sitting in the enclosed garden area.

Cost for using car park. cost for breakfast. Both of these issues can be resolved. see my "like" comments.

Very centrally located so could walk anywhere. Staff were very pleasant.

As hotel is in centre of city it was very noisy at night. The walls of the hotel room were quite thin as well. Sounds of sex and snoring from next room, not at the same time, left a memorable impression.

Nice hotel in the town centre, excellent for shopping and dining out, not too expensive but quite luxurious. Would recommend to anyone.

The room was always very warm which was great because it was freezing outside. Staff were extremely helpful and the service was excellent. I would definately recommend it to anyone who would like to go to Granada as it is bang in the city centre, close to many shops and restaurants.

My only complaint which is probably a minor one is that I asked for an iron and I did get one straight away but I found it really hard to iron a shirt in the room as there was no adequate place to iron the shirt. I would have done it on the bed but there was no electricity outlet near it which I could have used.

The hotel has great location, is right in downtown, close to all the action but on a very quiet street, which gives it a relaxing atmosphere, the interior is beautifully designed, good quality of the rooms and facilities, staff very helpful. Good breakfast

The hotel as a whole, has a very week airconditioning system, you can not adjust it in the room to your needs, and what you get is just a blow of slightly cooler air. We slept only under the bed sheet, it was far from comfortable, considering that the temperature outside during the day was 45 degrees and in the night 28.

The hotel was very central and it was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and courteous both in the restaurant and on reception.

When I say the staff were courteous this was for all except the woman behind the bar. She was sullen and unwelcoming. Just as the bar was closing (of which she failed to advise the clientele giving them an opportunity to purchase a drink) I went to the bar to buy a brandy. She made it quite obvious that she did not want to serve me and did so in a very begrudging manner. I asked for a brandy for which she charged me 18.20€. I signed the room slip before I realised. I thought I must have made a mistake but no - she had charged me 18.20€ for one glass of brandy. I would recommend this hotel but with reservations regarding the breakfasts and the bar.

Location was great - right in the city center

Staff were unhelpful and at times rude No dining facilities at all on one of the nights we stayed, not even bar snacks or room service.

Its service, especially the concierge and cleaning staff, its cleanliness and its central location to the shops and the tapas bars

We only stayed for one night and the purpose was to attend a wedding we did not use any facilities and cannot really comment on them the room was excellent as was the staff at reception. Very nice atmosphere around the area and well and centrally located, enjoyed the stay.

Value for money

Location was great, very central - we could walk many attractions and the shuttle to the Alhambra was within a couple of blocks. Lots of restaurants in the area and shopping very close by.

We were on the first floor and it was a bit noisy.
