The location was terrific and the staff was always very helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Location . and v level service , big room . specially jacuzzi. Its luxury hotel from inside. Also liked the lounge area for v level , open till 11 pm , you can eat & relax there.

Looks old from outside , needs face lift. Need to pay for parking even if you book v level room. Parking is by privet company and charges 24 euro/day or 3 euro / hour and somewhat difficult and small space parking, at second level only as first level reserved by other company.

The location was very good in a quiet part of the city. On our arrival, the staff were extremely helpful & efficient. The recently renovated rooms are really well designed & exceptionally clean.

The gym was extremely small, limited equipment & no air conditioning

We booked the hotel because of its Spa. This was a real let down. It was closed on the Thursday and Friday we were there due to Easter. When it did open on Saturday, the pool was cold, the showers broken, the staff would not turn on all the lights and the changing rooms stank of sweaty feet. After 1 hour we left and requested our money back. For a luxury hotel this was a joke...

Location and restaurant service

Hotel is just after reconstruction and a lot of things still to improve. From our persective is not a real 5 stars hotel.

Parking was convenient.

The room needs to be revamped. Wallpaper old & carpets stained.

The large bathroom and the very comfortable bed, closeby the metro station that goes straight to the plaza del sol. Nice spa & indoor swimming pool, which is a rarity in the centre of Madrid.

Staff members showed clear ignorance. Not helpful. Very dirty place as well.

The Location of the hotel excellent and it seems it has just been renovated with modern touch, however the hotel standard can't be categorised as 5 star, it's hardly 4 star. Rooms are very small and bathroom cleaning is not not that good where u see black stains in the shower, if they continue with same standard of cleaning no doubt they gonna reach 2 stars in 2 years time!!

Room size and cleanness of the bathroom. Also it has no outdoor swimming pool where u have pay for the indoor ones( basically it's spa)

The delicious breakfast, the level, the kindness of the staff, the corridor of the rooms (it is like a Stanley Kubrick film :-))

The staff was great and they made me feel like I was really welcome. They were not too official and not too relaxed either, I think. The breakfast had a wonderfull selection of food.

The room was really noisy. Mainly it was noise from the streets but it was 9th floor so I just wonder what it was like in the lower floors. The windows didn't close properly which made the noise issue even worse. Also the lock of the room door was damaged, looking like someone had broke into the room. The public parking really is not anyhow related to the hotel and the hotel staff refused to give any help when I had some language (I had to make a one month contract for parking) issues with the parking staff.
