The building has been well converted, from a convent/mental hospital, and retained character but gained style and comfort. Front of house staff and service staff were polite and friendly. Trujillo is a wonderfuly atrative town and the Izan hotel a fine place to stay. Getting in and out of the underground car park is not a lot of fun - but that really is a minnor complaint.

Location is very good.Good value for a 4* hotel. The bed was extremly hard, like sleeping on the floor.A pity as every thing else was good,but you need a good nights sleep.

The hotel was a delight, very tranquil. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent facilities, this is a real 4-star hotel. It's set in a converted convent and we loved sitting in the cloister. Room was spacious and well furnished. Trujillo itself is a gorgeous village which we loved, the old town is a short 10-minute walk from the hotel which was perfect. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the Plaza Mayor nearby.

the hotel parking is awful, very small and difficult to drive in and out. the time you spend at the reception is too long -there is always a few guests waiting and only one receptionist dealing with them.

Visually very attractive hotel; very warm and inviting room decor. An interesting blend of modern and old-world charm. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Very nice restaurant with very good food. Carpet in the room was pretty dirty and room could have been a touch more sound insulated.

El hotel está muy bien integrado en el edificio, un antiguo convento, de forma que no sólo estás a gusto en la habitación, sino que las zonas comunes (el claustro/cafetería) son muy agradables y se pueden disfrutar muy bien.

El trato del personal y el desayuno Regular. Necesita rehabilitación al menos en la parte en la que nos hospedamos. Íbamos dos adultos y un niño. la cena regular, mal de aparcamiento, la television jurásica con tdt independiente y dos mandos, moqueta tan jurásica como la tele. La puerta del baño tenia alguna cosa pegada que no era madera. Las paredes del hotel necesitan una mano de pintura. En general normalizo para un 4 estrellas. Nada que ver con el Parador e incluso con el NH
