Mesón del Cid  

This is our 2nd stay at this Hotel and cannot praise it or its staff enough. Requested the same room as before and we were given our request with no problems. When in region again will use this stop over again. Many thanks for the stay.

The location was outstanding and the staff was very good.

It was dog-friendly, well signposted and easy to find, with secure parking. Our room was warm and comfortable. The hotel was so central that it was a delight to walk through the streets/see the cathedral,museums of Burgos. The reception staff were very helpful.

It was a shame that there was no bar service at the hotel the night we were there- the little bar area was so pleasant. However the nice lady agreed to make us a cup of tea which we really appreciated.

Location is right across from Cathedral--the main focus for going to Burgos. Staff was very helpful. Excellent price--decor dated but very clean

Location to city centre

Very difficult to find by car.Also arriving on a Sunday resturant & bar not open which after a long drive would have been a bonus.otherwise very pleasant overnight stay

The location was great! Amazing views of cathedral and old-world feel of hotel.Great value for what we paid and the breakfast was great!

The reception from the staff is courteous but nothing more.

Wi fi was hit and miss. Our room was tiny , as was the bed.

Beautiful room overlooking Cathedral. Close to everything we wanted to see and were able to go back to room for rest stops whenever we wanted.

The location was excellent for our visit. Our room looked directly on to the Cathedral.

Friendly, welcoming, well-designed, smart, well-situated.

Fantastic location in front of the cathedral. Traditional, very "spanish" decor. Wide rooms and bathrooms with woody furniture and all comforts. Excellent restaurant with traditional plates and old Spain environment. Private underground parking. The hotel is easy to reach by car even if in the core of Burgos.

Some small rejuvenation can be needed in some room.

location and interior

Located right next to the Cathedral square, the views from our room couldn't have been better - we looked straight out onto the front of the Cathderal. The hotel was comfortable and charmingly decorated to create a 'historic feel' with its links to the Cities 'famous son'. Not easy to access with a car but arrangements made by staff to transfer luggage and they realy couldn't have been more helpful. A good breakfast in the beautiful dining room too, which alo overlooke the Cathedral.
