The charm and history of the building and the location. It is close to many attractions. If you are fortunate to have a room overlooking the cathedral it is a lovely view to have from your window.

Our view of the Cathedral was superb - the city itself is fascinating and has lots to see and do. Food was very good with a wide variety of restaurants and cafes

It was not clear how many stairs had to be climbed to reach the hotel - we often ravel with an older couple and they could not have managed walking into and out of the city from the hotel

Location, rooms and breakfast

The hotel is steeped in history and the location is second to none. The staff were very helpful and all in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

The lobby area only had wooden benches and tables. Very authentic but not very comfortable

The Hotel is right next to the Cathedral. Literately a few steps a way. Lit up at night the cathedral is magnificent and a joy to behold. The hotel is beautiful with a romantic looking facade and design. We had breakfast in the hotel which included continental and cooked with eggs and bacon. Burgos is one of our favourite places and just a minute away are all the old buildings, arches, shops and the river. Easy walking although the steps back up to the hotel might not suit the less abled. All in all, a fabulous location, right in the heart of a beautiful city.

There was underground parking just a few paces away but no easy way to carry heavy bags to the hotel. This was due to a number of steps. Probably easiest to do it in stages as it only takes a few minutes to return to your car once parked.

Fabulous location. Small but very adequate room. Luck to be in Burgos on Palm Sunday so big processions, all very colourful and exciting. Lots of good places for coffee, gourmet and traveller budget food. Was overnight stop only for us but will definitely return later in the year .and will happily revisit this hotel.

Great location next to Cathedral and easy walking to main sights. Lift to each floor. Parking available in hotel garage adjacent to hotel.

Steps to enter hotel especially when carrying luggage. Parking cost 17 euros. A bit old fashioned.

Good location neibouring the cathedral. Close to shops and restaurants.

Getting there. Most of the roads leading to the hotel were blocked by traffic control barriers. According to our sat.-nav. We spent 30 minutes driving around within one minute of the hotel. A friendly native took a ride in our car to navigate for us.

The staff were excellent, the location is the best. Car parking is fun but its well worth it.

Absolutely everything! The staff was helpful and charming, and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The location was unbeatable, with a direct and unimpeded view of the cathedral. The room was big, clean and well equipped, with big window opening to the cathedral square.The parking garage wasn't spacious, but my large sedan got parked fairly easily, and even bigger cars were parked there. It allowed me not to worry about my foreign license car. Overall a wonderful place, and we were sorry that we were just passing through. If we return to Burgos, this will be the hotel we stay in.

Location and value

The location, overlooking the Cathedral, was perfect. the room was typical Spanish and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Friendly staff lovley rooms and great central location right next to the cathedral.

Excellent sized room, with a lovely view, well appointed and very comfortable including great beds.

Not sure about the breakfast as I came down with a stomach complaint some hours after eating breakfast. However my partner did not but he didn't eat the cooked breakfast like I did.

Stayed in its annex which has no reception or character Room view was looking at a wall, not the cathedral. Renovations going on next door which we could hear Was going to stay two nights but left after one.

Without being too picky, difficult to find and prior knowledge of use and location of garage would have been helpful.

Our room looked right down onto the courtyard of the old church and although right on the courtyard, the place was always quiet (perhaps reverence for the church). The room was clean, and spacious for the two of us. The staff was very helpful, although all Apple users were unable to access the WIFI, PC based products were okay. My recomendation, stay here while traveling to Burgos.
