Hotel Mezquita    

Loved the antique furnishings in main rooms and so close to the beautiful Mezquita.

The balcony was not cleaned and full of bird excrement. Did draw attention to this with the front desk.

Location could not have been more central. Simple, entirely satisfactory room and hotel.

Could be noisy from street life but if you don't want to feel the atmosphere of the old city, you are in the wrong place!

Close to major sights. Great room, plenty of space, great hot water, good staff, will come again.

Difficulty to find and access with a car

Everything was just excellent, except perhaps the rather stale breakfast rolls. It was best to eat out, we found. All the staff were most helpful in their quirky Spanish way!

The location just could not be better, being right across from the Mesquita and easy walking distance to the bridge and restaurants.

The hotel was in a great location and was beautifully furnished. It overlooks the famous Mezquita and is in the centre of Cordoba. Staff were very helpful and Friendly. I recommend room 5

Spectacular location, wall of the mezquita about 20m from hotel door and a great view from many rooms (I stayed in #21). Breakfast comprehensive, staff very helpful, and wonderful value. Highly recommended.

Location and traditional interior

Excellent location.Room had a small balcony overlooking a small plaza. Walking distance to all sights and across the road from the Mezquita. Very clean and well priced. Great shower! No frills room/hotel.

We are tall people, and found the bed quite small.

Beautiful interior entry, like a museum. Decent room, helpful staff. You realize that you're actually as close as you can get to the main attraction.

Breakfast was a little disappointing; packaged breads and wrapped pastries, relatively poor cuts of jamon. Fruits were not prepared and there were no implements e.g. for eating an orange.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The location is wonderful just next to the La Mezquita and I was lucky to have a room vith a view of La Mezquita. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean a bit small but you are in Cordoba !!!! So much to do ! So really it did not bother me. I highly recommend. Very good value forthe price! Oteli kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Camii'nin hemen yaninda ben cok memnun kaldim. Temiz, fiati uygun.

Granted I went in with low expectations based in the price, but I have t say I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Lots of unique character and charm. Right in the middle of everything and very clean. Be prepared to hear the Mezquita bells in the mornings.

The location was perfect - we could step out the door and be at the best sights in Cordoba. The resturants nearby were excellent and innovative. The breakfast offered had many options - yogurt, frsh fruit, breads, meats and cheeses, great coffee and fresh squeezed juice. Staff was very helpful, rooms large and clean. Style was wonderful old school, great mosiacs.

Parking is 10 minutes away, so driving in isnt easy.

It's centrally located. My small single room was very cheap, and excellent value. It was a simple room, without frills, with no desk or chair, and fine at the price.

The photo on the website shows a bath, cunningly photographed to look like a full-length bath. It's not - the bath is about long enough for a five-year-old. It is a shower.
