The hotel was located in a beautiful area, within a short walking distance to many shops and a variety of restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was very well maintained. It was very peaceful and there were excellent views looking down to Fuengirola and the sea. You could feel very relaxed by the swimming pool and pool bar. Also downstairs there was a hairdressing service, jacuzzi, massage, and spa, which helped you to unwind. The food was very enjoyable with a good variety to choose from. Found it difficult not to have any tea or coffee making facilities in the room, or a mini fridge.

Overall, a lovely hotel. Very clean, excellent location and good value for money. The walls are paper thin, even in the newer part of the hotel, but luckily the people in the surrounding rooms seemed to keep similar hours!

This is the fourth visit to this hotel in less than six months on business Nothing has changed for the better. It these times of economic problems nothing will. The hotel is of the 1980's The staff are helpful and efficient The hotel is clean, and the location is good but There is still no Wifi in the bedrooms, the televisions are old and small. The choice of channels is very limited. The bar staff are conspicuous by the absence, they appear to migrate in the summer away from the bar. It you want service at the bar to have to go to reception. Warning do not ask for any bar food unless you wish to take a walk down memory lane and relive the pleasures of British Rail food of the 1950'S. The food is of a very poor standard just try the breakfast if you dought me. There will be no improvements to the hotel because the company has no money , The hotel in a good location, the rooms are at a reasonable price and the hotel is very clean . So there you have it...................don't expect too much at this hotel and you will not be disappointed It is not the staff fault it is the management not stepping up to the challenge of the these times.

It is handy for Mijas, Restaurants & Bars. Fabulous views to Fuengirola & saw North Africa on a couple of days. Standard of Hotel is very good but a few basic things let it down. I find it bizarre that there is no Tea/Coffee making facilities whatsover in Rooms. It would make a big difference if there were. Pillows were rolled up bolster type which guarantees a cricked neck! Welcome information pack was appalling, a couple of A4 sheets.

Mijas is a beautiful village, great location for a short stay and the hotel was clean comfortable and lived up to my expectations. The pool is impressive, as are the numourous terraces for sunbathing on. The atmosphere in hotel was friendly & relaxed. The breakfast was a fab selection from Full English, to continental, fresh fruit, cereals & pastries..something to suit everyone and plenty of it. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the views & location couldn't be better I was more than impressed - thank you

Location No Wi-fi in the bedrooms. The breakfast is very very poor In the land of the orange we should be able to have fresh orange juice The so-posed fresh fruit is in a very poor state of health The cooked food is just about warm The coffee is OK. And there is a good view The dinning room clean and the staff helpful...................but food is terrible you have been warned.

Very good location. We had sea view rooms which were quiet and away from the road. One of the two rooms was not cleaned ready when we arrived.Food in the restaurant was fair rather than good although there was plenty of choice. These were the only slight let downs from an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Excellent location I have used Hotel Mijas meny times and have always found it to be good value. If I could change one thing it would be that you should allow the use of the car park for people staying at the Hotel in with the price Car park not included

Good location, and good value. Friendly servic. Beautiful views. I'm not keen on lifts and prefer to use the stairs...these were poorly signed and we got lost numerous times! Better signage would help Clearer directions.

Wonderful location with views of the coastline, whilst close to the village centre. The walls separating bedrooms are thin and all have connecting doors to rooms either side. As a result you can hear every word spoken, cough, snore, door bang, kettle boil etc. The list is endless and what we hoped would be a relaxing break with a chance to catch up on sleep left us more tired at the end than we started.

The decor aand the choice of Art work was good and staff excellent Only English TV channels were news. The 3 were all news on a loop Sky, BBC world and CNN and repeated every 30-40mins. At the end of a busy day one would have liked BBC 2 or Channel 4 for relaxation but for a few days it was ok but for a longer stay this would not have been acceptable

“This was a last minute booking and we chose tbis because of the excellent reviews and website photos. We were more than impressed with everything from the moment we arrived and the excellent warm welcome from staff and owner. It only got better with the food, service and surroundings. The hospitality was priceless and the decor was of high quality from the air con to the sunbeds. We will definetily go back as it is a touch of our new found paradise which allowed us to relax and de stress from the every day hum drum of business in the UK. Recommended for couples who love peace and tranquility. Congratulations to Omar and Muna for having so much passion and detail for their business. David and Aileen” Aileen, Glasgow |
