- Nice interior design - Good value for money
- Bad sound insulation between rooms - Location somewhat inspid: neither city center nor are the immediately reachable beaches particularly attractive.
Location, although a bus ride from the nicest beaches it was actually nice not be in the middle of all the action. There is a little cove close the hotel that is quite enjoyable. The hotel, though not luxurious by any means is quite cozy.
Instead of having a double bed we had two small beds pushed together, quite uncomfortable to sleep on.
Location, easy bus ride into Alicante Pool Staff Breakfast
Would benefit from better air con, but what is in place is acceptable
good value for money, good location (near by hotel are just local people)
The hotel was aesthetically pleasing. Pool area very nice.
The photo on the booking site gave the impression that the hotel was right on the beach. The beach was like an unpaved parking lot which was disappointing.
The room was a good size and cleaned regularly. The hotel was in a convenient place for 3 night stay.
The majority of the staff were friendly except for one of the receptionists who was very rude. The staff also said that there were no other restaurants or bars near the hotel, this isn't true. There are some opposite and its a 20 min walk to the promenade where there are loads of bars and restaurants
A nice hotel close to the beach. Friendly staff. The restaurant at the hotel is very acceptable.
There was a lot of stress on our arrival due to unready rooms. This meant we could'nt get our room in time.
Convenient to beach, but...
not a very nice beach. Room was not ready for over an hour past check-in time.
unqualified services at the reception
staff really lovely very helpful
not really geared up for the British but our fault for not being able to speak Spanish but we muddled along.
located close to the sea
very unfriendly/rude/unhelpful reception staff (except of polite night receptionist gentleman) no tea/coffee facilities in the room, no fridge dirty swimming pool not much shops with food nearby broken shower hard bed
Very helpful staff Pool Food quality in resturant
Close to the sea (a stone set in the sea), a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel itself is very pleasant. The staff is great. Parking is free, a lot of places right outside the main entrance. The wi-fi is good. But the hotel is far from the center, only by car or by bus. The beach is about 2 km.
very smoky room
I liked the receptionist who worked in the afternoon on the day very nice person. offered the wifi as is free anyway.
I did not like the receptionist who worked on my arrival. I arrived around 11 am she was rude and said that my room was not ready so I should come back after 12:30.
The hotel was peaceful, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Evening menu excellent value for money. This is our second visit and we will definitely return
Food really good and staff very friendly and accommodating.
All the staff were friendly and very helpful
We would of preferred a choice of breakfast
Most of the staff were extremely helpful and patient as my friend and I spoke very little Spanish and they little English. There was no option for anything but the set menu at the restaraunt but the food was lovely and loads of it. The hotel itself was quirky and rustic and obviously popular with locals for lunch on the pretty terrace.
One incident with a woman on reception really ruined the stay. We were put in a room where by the hotels admissions, had a broken door which had a 'technique' to open. I couldn't open it still. We had to repeatedly open it with the assistance of staff members. However after about the 4th time of approaching reception to ask for help the woman on reception slammed her hands down screaming 'I'm just going to have to move you!' Shoving me a key to a room next door and snatching back the current key. Shocked, I said 'I'm really sorry I simply can't work the door' to which she replied. 'We simply don't have the time to keep helping you!' I was really shaken and she ignored me, clearly fuming and I went to the new room, waiting for her to come and unlock the old room for me to move our clothes etc. She didn't come so I had to go back and ask if she could unlock the door. Irate she shouted 'you can't open this door either?!' To which I calmly said I was talking about the old room. On realising I didn't have the old key she had snatched away she immediately changed her tone and jumped up to help. I was so upset and visibly shaken she quickly changed her tone and I moved our clothes in silence as she watched on asking sheepishly if she could help. I quietly said no thankyou and closed the door to the new room and had a few tears. Only reason being I've worked in a customer facing role for around 8 years and know that her behaviour was totally unacceptable, especially since I'd not been away for years and I was really excited and to be treated like this as soon as we checked in really brought me down. I went back to the pool where my friend was sunbathing and told her about what had happened, I didn't really want to face the woman again.
Location is great. 200 meter from one beach, 400 meter from the second beach and 1000 meter from the third. Busstop at 100 meters, busses to city centre every 20-30 minutes. Ride to center is 10 minutes. The restaurant chef that prepares dinner must love food.
Breakfast kind of poor and unhealthy, especially compared to the rich flavors of the hotel's dinner.
Breakfast was good although you had no choice, you were just given what you were given.
Beds were terrible and rooms dated. Pool filthy. Quite a distance from Alicante centre. Very patchy wifi. Remote in room had been chewed by something. I'm struggling to see where the 3 star rating comes from.
really friendly, menu del dia in evening was excellent value for money, really nice food. Clean hotel and not far from Alicante City, bus ride or easy car drive. would stay again
It's an unusual layout, with nice private balconies, pool area is lovely.
The service staff is just strange. The desk clerk was over officious but helpful and the wait staff was surly. Too bad as it is a kind of nice one-time stop.
ample and traditional breakfast I liked the rustic charm of the hotel
terrible wifi reception staff moaning about a few drops of water after i visited the swimming pool.
