The hotel is located inside the Roman walls that encircle the old city of Avila. Warm and inviting, it is an ideal place to discover this historic city. The hotel is a converted palatial home.

The receptionists, especially Meraneka, were absolutely excellent. Nothing was too much trouble - from arranging train times to local information. The location couldn't have been better, just minutes away from the old town and minutes away from the train station. A trip to Madrid was no hassle at all.
Late spacious room. Great pressure on the shower. Good location near to town. Female receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly.
Nice clean hotel, very helpful staff, only a few minutes walk from the walls. Nice breakfast/dining room. Very clean and comfortable bedroom with television and wifi.
Would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom.
Only a few minutes from the train station. My train came in at midnight and I had no problem walking there alone. There was someone at the desk and they kept the room reserved for me. Only about a 7 min walk to the main entrance to the wall.
The bed was fairly worn and not the most comfortable and breakfast was not complimentary.
Clean, comfortable, value for money, free Wifi
One person manning both the reception and breakfast at the same time.
Very good place and loaction/near the old city. Good staff .
The staff there at the hotel. They were excellent and could be the only reason I might chose the same hotel again. The staff were helpful enough to guide us through the Avila city through the easiest way possible.
the reception staff warned us that we can't break anything in the hotel room, they don't have to mention it, of course we know. We don't like her attitude like they thought we are rude persons who will easily spoilt something.
Generally the room was very nice, clean, quite small but cosy with a big bathroom.
The only thing I can refer to is a bad smell that came from the bathroom, but only for a while & possibly it had to do with the draining system & the wind because everything was absolutely clean.
