Miramar Barcelona  

Stylish hotel in an nice park setting on the outskirts of Barcelona with a fantastic view on the city. Hotel restaurant surprisingly good. Good value for money. Very nice pool area.

Nothing to complain about

I liked the fact it was out of the city centre, my room was at the back near rifle range didnt bother me at all. Once we got the Barcelona Card we used the No 50 bus to get us to underground would advise this as district leading from hotel to city isnt very nice.

Room was ok but with some minor maintainance problems that a 5* hotel shouldnt have. Glass toilet dor had droped and was difficult to close. The ceiling of the showere room and bathroom had water damage and was peeling. The hair drier dropped off the wall because the ring to hold it wasnt fixed properly. The management fixed it promptly and the ring. I rectified the door. We didnt complain to desk but house keeper should have it all in hand. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a city break without the hustle. But watch out for Romonv thieves who tried to manouvre me into a spot.

Comfortable room, pleasant staff,great views

Annoying little faults for a hotel of its standard; we stayed three nights, but only had a breakfast order card on the second night. When we asked for one on the third night it did not come. There was no plug in the wash basin. The restaurant was closed on Monday night but we could not see anything in the room that mentioned this. Odd for a place with such potential.

The only thing I really liked about the miramar was the breakfast, and the facial and massage we got in the spa which was excellent.

There were many things we didnt like about the hotel. The room was not cleaned to a standard you would expect of a 5 star. When I pulled the bedside table out to plug my phone in there was some foot cream and bottle tops left there from previous guests. We also did not have any dressing gowns, these arrived 2 days later. On 1 day no towels were left after the room had been cleaned. We had no view from the room. My husband had hurt his leg prior to our trip so we had to spend alot of time in the room, we ordered room service twice which was awful and ate in the restaurant once which was equally as bad. Just not the standard of a 5 star hotel. We would never return to this over rated expensive hotel.

The hotel staff, especially Mary, the concierge, were very helpful with restaurants and site seeing. The location had great views of the city. In warmer weather the outdoor pool and seating areas would be lovely. Most of the staff spoke English very well.

The worst thing about this hotel is that our room was on the side of the shooting range nearby and so any napping or sleeping in would be disturbed. Our room was very clean but apparently they mix non-smoking and smoking rooms so they use a very strong deodorizer and that smell was overwhelming in itself! The location is a bit remote and no taxis are on onsite but they can be calmed with a 5-15 minute wait. The pictures on the website made this hotel look like an older historic hotel but in fact only the original facade remains. Inside it is totally modern which was a surprise. I wanted a historical atmosphere for this trip but it was very nice inside.

Very good hotel, wonderful views, friendly stuff.

Floors in our room were dirty, towels were dirty grey and we stayed for a week they were not changed once.

La vista para Barcelona

I paid more because you want a Premium Room Upon arriving in the room was not the suite that I wanted to Premium I called the front desk and was poorly served by a Dutch lady, she said the suite was that I was Premium. Premium suite is not answered because I do not have another bath room. After half a lot of bla bla bla bla ... I waited half ahora once transferred to room

Very good place with good view of Barcelona and the sea. Not far from the center of the city (port, str. La Rambla). Very quiet hotel with clean rooms.

Fantastic hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We appreciated the view, the swimming pool, the room and the smiling staff

Due to a party in the pool we couldn' t sleep till 4 am.we were informe about the late time only at night and asked to change the room only at 3 am ...! Considering the standard of the hotel and the situation we faced we expected a different treatment (maybe a discount or a little present :a cocktail etc)

Me and my family liked everything about Miramar Barcelona. Location, hotel staff, rooms, food, territory, etc. The price was below out expectations. All in-hotel services (except food and drinks) are included (wifi internet, spa, pools, gym, car parking, etc.). Large rooms with nice interior. Many major tourist attractions of Barcelona are close. We would like to go back there sometimes again.
