The view in this hotel is fantastic, the staff is friendly. Good breakfast.

The infrastructure is old, not enough maintained for a 5-star hotel. Especially the pool/wellness area are shameful. A mushroom smell everywhere most in the spa. The swimming pool was very dirty, probably due to an old installation. Small insects in the room, part of the bathroom equipment missing. Not worthy of 5-stars and not worth the money.

Bad points: - no provision of kettle nor tea bags/coffee, which would be considered standard in most hotels. - hotel receptionist blabs on about useless information for over 15 minutes before he was willing to hand over the room key. - breakfast is substandard

I liked everything room, balcony, terasse and restaurant. All the staff where very friendly and efficient.

The the heating was to low for me. I come from a warm Country Saudi Arabia and expect a minimum roomt temp of 25-27 degrees Celsius. It was maximimun 22.5 degrees whitch is cold to me. The Restaurant Menu is good but variatin is good for 2 days the you have to go to Montjuic. Also no Soup or Boullion on the Menu big minus.

Excellent hotel, located close to the Port and center, but still in a secluded hill area. Staff was great, extremely polite & friendly. Room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom & nice terrance. Lovely outdoor pool & spa. Overall great hotel and i would recommended to anyone who want to enjoy Barcelona in comfort. A few about getting there and around: It takes about 30-35 euro the ride from the airport to the hotel. From there you have the following options to go to the city center: - The hotel has a Teleferic next by that can drop you near Port Vell in 10 minutes. - The "Paralel" metro station is 10 minutes downhill by foot. - Rambla is 20 minutes max downhill by foot.

Wonderful views from Montjuic across the city and port. Easy access to central Barcelona, via funicular, or the port or castle by teleferic.20 minutes walk from the Palau Sant Jordi . Out of the Barcelona bustle ! Nice swimming pool and terrace. Our room was large, and the bed very comfortable, and it had a lovely balcony with chairs and table, to relax in the evening.The spa and indoor pool looked beautiful, Overall a

Unfortunately, the shower door would not close, and leaked water into the bedroom - we reported this three times, but it needed major attention. Also reported that the cupboard doors did not close and scraped on the floor - not really 5*.quality. Only 4 coathangers in the wardrobe, until we asked.

Excellent very stylish room with terasse, fantastic terasses (restaurant and bar) with great wievs, the menu in the restaurant offered healthy choises, superb staff! This was the second time we stayed at the hotel and we will return....

However...we would not recommend the room service menu... The shower door would not close properly which ment water on the bathroom floor and there was a stench from the sinks... But, since everything else was so perfect we recommend the hotel!

Miramar hotel is an outstanding hotel with an amazing view the rooms are clean and large and comfortable the hotel located on a mountain but there is an easy transportation Ali's taxi available all the time when entering the hotel amarvellos smell all around the lobby and the lifts the staff are very polite welcoming all the time and supportive I really enjoy my staying there and I recommend this hotel to any one like to spend a lively time in barchalon. The Miramar Barcelona is a peaceful and relaxed hotel with wonderful gardens and views of the city of Barcelona and the sea. When the city is hot, this hotel on Montjuic is wonderful to come back to. The staff are friendly and always available when needed. I have never been to a better hotel anywhere in the world.

I cannot think of anything that I could dislike about this hotel

The hotel starts to be already a bit "faded"

staff was friendly. liked the location very peaceful and only15 min walk to Ramblas. breakfast was nice although quite expensive. During breakfast hours there was actually staff to serve!

Hotel was understaffed in restaurants and bars, which led to service being very slow. additionally there was no safe in the room and hotel staff was unable to fix it. we found one in the corridor that we installed ourselves. it was not possible to lock the door from inside as the lock had been installed wrongly we pointed this out a couple of times with no action to follow. maybe hotel had no maintenance!? A minor thing but there was no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on.

The hotel's location on Montjuïc Hill in a park overlooking the city and sea offers close access to the major attractions of Barcelona as well as wonderful views of the city and port activities. Our room was large and well-appointed and service was excellent.

The pool staff played loud and, in my view, obnoxious "techno" music to, I presume, please some of the younger guests, but this destroyed the tranquility of the setting in the park. Had the music not done so, certainly the gun range located on the hill just above the hotel - with the constant "bang, bang, bang" of the rifles and pistols - would have. All in all, the pool is not a pleasant experience.

Excellent decor throughout hotel. Very nice n friendly staff. Really can't put a fault to this place!

The location is great - 10 mins walk into the city centre but the advantage of a big garden, plaza and the cable car to the beach. The pool and gardens are wonderful and the hotel is calm and relaxed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Smell like rotting plants or emissions, not sure what to blame for this hotel, but open the door to the terrace is not possible
