The Spa facilities were so clean and they were really relaxing. We also had massages while there which were excellent. Staff were friendly however it can be hard when there is a language barrier! I know this is a small thing but there was no tea making facilities or ironing facilities in the room! |

This is a beautiful hotel, located in a quiet area, yet close to public transports.
The shuttle service is rather poor. we had to call 3 times, they kept us waiting for over 1 hour while they kept promising they'd be here within minutes. |

Sheer relaxation, and the comfort of the beds. Prices of the food - We paid €60 for a couple of sandwiches and minerals for lunch one day.. The jacuzzi was not working in the evening when you needed it most. |

Fantastic hotel, complete luxury, we will go there again next year hopefully. Really beautiful room. The meal in the restaurant was very pricey and one of the meals didnt arrive and when we said it to the girl serving us (who seemed like a manager) she didnt apologise at all - very bad service from her (the rest of the staff were excellent) |

The lobby and suites are beautiful. The gym is large and well equipped, and the pools are very clean and well maintained. Located in a beautiful, quiet area, seems quite a distance from the city centre, but in reality is not. The hotel is two minutes walk from a metro station and the metro is efficient and very easy to use. Taxis to and from city only cost between 12 and 15 euro. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Vaguarda mall, which has great shopping. There is a lovely little cantina that serves excellent tapas literally one minute from the front door. The staff, particularly behind the front desk and in the gym, were in general unhelpful and loathe to offer any assistence.That is not to say some of the staff, in particular the doormen, are not gentlemen, they are. The situation at the outside pool is a joke. There are only around 12 sun-loungers. We were there for ten days, and every single day most of those were taken up by locals, presumably gym members. As far as we could see, many guests were restricted to lying on the grass, which is not acceptable in a five star hotel. The restaurant is very bad value for money and the costs of drinks is prohibitive (8 euro for a "large" beer, which contained less than a pint, 3 euros fifty cent for a pint in the cantina next door.) The indoor bar closes every day in the late afternoon and don't believe the advertised statement that there is music nightly in the lobby, or that it is easy to order drinks in the lobby area. It is not. For a business hotel, broadband provision is poor. You have to pay 24 euro a day for a broadband connection. |
