Staff at the reception very friendly, being always ready to offer good info, speaking good English. Clean and comfortable rooms even smaller. Very close to public transportation which I personally recommend for this city (be aware of pick-pockets !). Tip 1: El Putxet metro station just around the corner (line 7 to be used to get to Plaza Catalunya or bus 17 from Balmes blvd. (Very close to this hotel) will take you to Barcelonetta (wonderful beach in town) Tip 2: If don't want to pay ~ euro 30 for the taxi from the airport than take the Aerobus (euro 5.63 /way, ticket valid for1 hour - buy it from the driver) that takes you to Pl. Catalunya. From here you can take either metro Line 7 (direction Tibidabo) or bus17

The hotel has good location, it is not far from the subway station (lesser than 5 min. walk), and there are many groceries, cafés, and small restaurants on the neighborhood. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but good enough for few nights. We had hot tub in the bathroom. The hotel is located in one small street with low traffic noise. The first set of towels was not really clean, but on the second day they changed all. The walls are very narrows, hence you can hear each door opening, noise of showering, but the hotel is quiet on the night.

My super bathtub did not work on my first night there, but next day I was moved to a bigger room with a working bathtub and a terrace. Great, quickwitted staff also. The metro line close to the hotel and that takes you directly downtown is under construction, so you have to change trains 2 or 3 times, depending where you are going. Also there is no elevator at the station. Not nice when traveling with luggage.

Clean and quite room with a terrace was nice place for staying. Close to the hotel was nice bakery and restaurant with fair prices. The hotel is also easily reachable by subway (unfortunately during our stay there were some constructions on L7 line so we need to change the lines for 3 times to reach the hotel from city centre or use L3 with a station about 700 meters from hotel). TV had only public channels. So you do not have opportunity to see Barcelona's football matches live (but you still have a possibility to visit one of bars in neighbourhood).

The position was not central but close enough to the metro station. Good take aways around and several supermarket nearby. Walking distance from Park Gaudì. Sober and simple rooms, comfortable and with enough space. Great bathroom with hot-tub Very very, very noisy. You can hear people exiting or returning to their rooms (and slamming their doors otherwise they wouldn't shut). All other rumors were available. Rooms were not very clean and there weren't enough towels. Staff not always helpful and allowed rumorous people getting in and out at every ti,e of the nigth

Quiet, simple rooms. Not cheap, but really good breakfast. Metro station is just arround the corner, easy to get to center. Wifi didnt work in our room (room at the end of corridor - 408). Metro line L7 is half closed, so you have to change after 2 stations to L6 to get to Pl. Catalunya.

Had to move to this hotel from another one in Barcelona, where the noise in the room was as if I was outside on the street. As I already stayed in several Eurostars chain hotels in other countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Italy), including Spain, I was sure about the comfort I was going to get: calm location, clean bedding, stable WiFi, spacious rooms. I'd recommend any hotel of the Eurostars chain. If you wish to stay in the centre of Barcelona -- it's probably not the best option for you. Although, you can easily get to the city centre by various buses and the hotel is close to the fgc station.

Nothing really different from the other travelers: Hotel is clean, beds are fine, remote control of TV is working properly (is quite annoying if does not). Metro station Putxet is not more than 50-70 meters from the hotel. Tram runs ~ every 15 min. and takes directly to Pl. Catalunya. By taxi from Pl. Catalunya ~ 7-8 Eur. There are some small restaurants around and some small shops which accepts cards - no need to take quite expensive breakfast in the hotel. So, great place if choice is based on economy / price / good sleep / silence. Sometimes there was a humidity smell in the room - better ventilation would work. Missed second pillow per person.

Room was comfortable; bathroom included whirlpool bath. Location is good, near an underground station. Difficult to park. Hotel's own car park was full and only other option nearby was a public car park, which cost €37 for 24 hrs. It would have been cheaper, over all, to have booked a hotel further away from the centre and taken the metro in. It's also right on top of the Ronda de General Mitre, which is difficult to navigate. So, if you're driving into Barcelona, this isn't the best hotel option but if you're on foot, it's fine. Also, there's nowhere to eat nearby except a takeaway pizza place.

We stayed there for three nights. It was a quiet hotel and the location near the metro is excellent. The breakfast is expensive, but well worth the money. Nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Excellent hotel in quiet peace of Barcelona especially if you are not going to stay in hotel all time. Rooms pretty small but it's enough. WiFi worked good and everywhere. 100M to metro station El Puxket (don't remember exactly) on l7 line. Minimarket is opposite. There are not many cafe near hotel, but they are. Poor never changed breakfasts...

The room was very clean. Room service was good. Easy access to L7 metro (El putxet) ~ 40 meters. 7 minutes walking to Lesseps metro station. The area is not touristic, so you will see fair prices in the shops around. Basic supermarket is few meters away from the hotel. I think LCD TV will be good for anyone who knows Spanish (not us). The hydro-massage bathtub is a nice experience. Everything was very good relative to a 3 stars hotel. We had two beds in the rooms although we asked for one double bed. You will see many reviews here claiming that the fridge is not working. I thought the same situation happened to me at first but we realized that it just gets shut down when you leave the room. If you want it working 24/7, keep your room card inserted in the electricity switch all the time. We had a problem in adjusting water heat, either so hot or so cold, but you can live with that. Wi-Fi connection was poor inside the room, but gets better near the door. You can use the computer in the reception if you have problems.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from El Putxet metro station, where you can easily and fast get to city centre. Not far from Park Guell and blue tram (needed to get to Tibidabo). Very nice and helpful staff. Clean and quite room. Excelent wi fi connection (even on the terrace). Little bit too small bathroom.

We had a triple room and stayed 4 nights. We liked a metro station close to the hotel. Line l7 stops in a close distance of the hotel. The room had a hydro message whirlpool which was very relaxing. Safety box was also very good to put your belongings. We also had a big balcony. The floor was bare. The door of the bathroom was not closed completely. There was a bathtub with a very long curtain which made the floor wet sometimes.
