The Molina Lario is a new high quality 4-star hotel with the best location, in front of the cathedral, in the historic, commercial and cultural centre of Málaga, just a few metres from the port and Picasso Museum.

This privileged location allows you to visit the most important city landmarks, all of which are within walking distance. These include the Roman amphitheatre, the Alcazaba or the Castle of Gibralfaro.

Close to all kind of shops and restaurants, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the famous main street of Málaga, Larios. You are also close to Playa de la Malagueta, the most emblematic beach of the city, where you can enjoy sea and sun during the summer.

The Molina Lario is a newly built hotel, consisting of 3 buildings, 2 of which have been completely refurbished, keeping the original 19th century façade, and the 3rd is absolutely new. Together, these comprise a unique hotel set in the heart of the city.

Restaurant: el Café de Bolsa

With direct access from Bolsa street, the café offers two spaces clearly defined by the central bar, with an area for tapas and snacks that can be enjoyed throughout the day offering quality food served on the spot, ranging from a rib of beef to simple vegetables without forgetting the best ham you can find in the city.

Then there is the restaurant area with an “ a la carte “ menu of Mediterranean specialities that varies depending on the season and what the market can offer us every day. A daily lunchtime menu is served from Monday to Friday.

You can also enjoy our open air Central Courtyard serving a wide variety of gastronomic delights, cocktails too and in the summer months there is live music to accompany you.

Private rooms for lunches, banquets, etc… are available on request.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the room and facilities are the best we have experienced in Spain. The location couldn't be better – right in the City Centre, just round the corner from the Cathedral. Pretty much everything you would want to visit is within walking distance (with the exception of the main train station, that's about a 10 min cab ride).

The menu in the restaurant is a little fancy, and as there is such a wealth of places to eat out in Malaga, we didn't feel the need to dine at the hotel itself. As it is pretty difficult to find a bad place to eat in the city, the restaurant looks very empty, as everyone opts to go the bars and cafes in the surrounding areas.

Beautiful, modern hotel. Very good location in the heart of Malaga's historic area.

Very difficult to get to by auto. Recommend not following booking.com's directions and contacting hotel directly for directions.
