Location brilliant - Old Town Malaga only yards ( not meters) from Picasso Museum and Cathedral. Never seen so many pavement type cafes. Underground parking available. Staff great, and didn't hold their hands out for tips. Lift programming seemed to have a mind of it's own.

This is located perfect in downtown Malaga. Right next to the Cathedral, restaurants, tabernas, and shoppingstreets. Their juniorsuite is a perfect familyroom, with a sleepingroom, livingroom, a kitchen and two bathrooms/toilets. Total ca 45 m2. The familyroom is just a room ca 20 m2. The staff disagrees! We used alot of time discussing this with the staff, they wouldn't put extra beds in the juniorsuite, even though there is more room there then in a familyroom. And the crazy thing is that the familyroom is half the size of a juniorsuite, but it is double the price. Go figure!!

Location was good, room spacious and clean, though we did have some problems with the ventilation in the bathroom and the aircon turning off at night. Beds were very firm, but still comfortable. All told, one of the better value I've found in Malaga at this end of the scala. Rooftop pool was useless at this time of the year since it was not heated and often quite dirty in the afternoon. Missed having a balcony. Breakfast buffet waaay too expensive, fortunately they offered cheaper (and good) options.

Although we only stayed one night at the start of our tour of Andalucia, we were extremely happy to begin our holiday at the Molina Lario. Great location with restaurants and shopping nearby, super room with view of the sea and cathedral, comfortable beds, large bathroom, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

perfect location, excellent staff, beds too hard but they brought a good topper when asked, even though it was late at night when we arrived. nothing seemed too much trouble, staff were a credit to the hotel, we know Malaga well as I used to live near, not all staff there are so delightful.Bar staff were superb too, especially xavier. the harsh lighting in the lift and bathrooms, only negative.

The breakfast fresh fruit selection was excellent. Clean bath towels daily was excellent. The friendly receptionists were all very helpful and polite. Only one traditional/normal tea bag each day in bedroom. We needed 2 as we do not like fruit/ herbal teas so disappointing. Grout between tiles in bathroom missing. For modern/expensive hotel shabby joins between bath & wall appear repulsively unhygenic. Breakfast croissants were not high quality. They need a higher butter content. (I am a trained cook!) We have tasted much better ones elsewhere. They were not delicious, but just 'acceptable'.
