Very friendly owners. Excellent evening meal. Spacious room. Glass of bubbly on arrival. Free onsite parking.
Description of room said views of gardens which we didn't have, but as we only stayed one night we weren't too bothered.
Lovely place. You just have to like it. Really excellent food and the wine recommendation was great. Very good breakfast. We had a great walk outside Grazalema. Very nice staff. Will revert a third time.
Rooms/decoration Generous bathroom Quiet/grounds Service
Need a car to get around (but we knew that)
Location. Style. Staff. Everything!
A fantastic welcoming and helpful hostess. Nice room and great dinner from the restaurant.
Elaine, Ian and their staff were very welcoming and we instantly felt at home. We had a lovely weekend and are planning to visit again as soon as we can. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Dinner at the hotel was excellent! A very restful place!
In the evening the room was very warm and no air condition
We have just returned from a wonderful 8 night stay at the Hotel Molino del Puente, near Ronda and have had a fabulous time there. The hotel is a few of minutes away from the hustle and bustle of beautiful Ronda and is located in a lovely tranquil area surrounded by trees and mountains which has a very relaxed atmosphere. The Molino del Puente is immaculate with all the facilities you would require, with lots of free parking, lovely pool and a pretty outdoor eating area as well as an excellent indoor restaurant and bar. Every day when we returned to our room there was a lovely little gift sitting on our bed and there was a special cocktail waiting for us when we first arrived, these little touches were very special. The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful and genuinely a pleasure to be around and chat to. The staff are mainly English speaking and there is no problem with communication. We had excellent breakfasts here, with a large and varied menu and most evenings we ate in the superb hotel restaurant which has been recently re-named to La Cascada (see separate review of restaurant). We would like to thank everyone who works at the Hotel Molino del Puente for making our holiday so wonderful and for your kindness and friendliness towards us, You are all lovely and a credit to the hotel. We would love to come back to see you all and enjoy your beautiful hotel in the not too distant future. Adios mi amigo's
Nothing to dislike, it was all great.
Good service nice staff very friendly! Our stay couldn't be beter!Diner was great and breakfast to!
Very comfortable. Welcoming hosts and staff. Good breakfast. Afternoon coffee and cakes.
Further from Ronda than advertised.
English speaking in spanish country Very clean and friendly English breakfast If you have plane from Malaga in the afternoon you can sleep here
Very quiet location, ideal for relax. As it is a Hotel Rural is in the countryside but is really close to nice cities like Ronda and Setenil de las bodegas. Very easy to find with the indications sent by mail prior to our arrival. Excellent dinner
We wanted to be close to Ronda but in the countryside and this hotel really delivered on both fronts. The pool is beautiful as are the well loved gardens. Food was delicious and the staff were all warm and helpful
My only minor gripe was the proximity to the railway but the hotel can't help that and I can't say it was a busy track. It's also close to the road but this makes it an easy trip into Ronda onto seville and the other beautiful surrounding villages so for us it was a positive. The traffic noise was minimal
A great family run hotel with freshly prepared food every day, i could live there full time. i wont go anywhere else when i next visit Ronda.
very pleasanthe check in, nice & clean rooms, lovely pool, excellent breakfast & dinner
near railway, but not too much disturbing
Nice structure with swimming pool. Good breakfast
Close to a railway. Our room was facing the restaurant terrasse and we couldn't leave our window open because of the noise.
Genuine super friendly accommodating people sincere welcome
Our stay wasn't long enough
Hotel is great, nice rooms and a big terrasse. pool area is lovely.
pretty far outside of ronda
great place! after coming from Madrid this was exactly what we needed. Quiet and relaxing, great owners Elaine and Ian. Nice pool and table-tennis. Clean, spacious rooms. The food was amazing (thanks Ian).
We liked everything but need to stress out that you need to be mobile (car) if you want to explore the surroundings.
Very enjoyable, relaxing stay. Great location for quiet but near to Ronda. Food is excellent and enjoyed the Arab Bath.
We were thoroughly impressed with this hotel and our stay here ... problems with wireless access & hot water not withstanding. A beautiful property, welcoming host, fantastic restaurant and great location. It far exceeded our expectations, and we would certainly return.
No wireless in our room Limited hot water ... Rented a room with a glorious bath tub, but could only take a luke-warm (at best) bath
Convenient for seeing Ronda and venturing out into the white villages in the mountains. Got a champagne cocktail on arrival, which is a nice gesture. Nice pool area. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Good value for money. Free parking. Possibility to leave luggage there well into the afternoon was a plus.
We had a room with river view - it gets hot in the room, as there is no air-con (only a fan) and you are likely to keep the windows closed too as otherwise you are going to hear the restaurant's guests chatting just below. The hotel is 8 km from the centre of Ronda and driving back to the hotel at night is quite challenging as the road contains several dangerous bends. Upon check-out we were charged a second time for the room, when in fact it had already been paid, but this was sorted out efficiently.
The staff were great, very pleasant and helpful. The ambience of the hotel was good although it is beginning to look a bit shabby and dated. Very relaxing and tranquil. The tapas menu was great, best ribs I have tasted for years. We will make a return visit in the future.
We were both dissapointed with the evening meal, the quality of the food was less than expected, especially having had the best tapas we have tasted for a long time at lunchtime.
Elaine and Ian were sooo welcoming...was like visiting friends.. Meal on the terrace was great...breakfast was tops in the morning... Would recommend a longer stay...
That we only had one night there
