The welcome & the friendly atmosphere. - & the excellent food. As well as being convenient for visiting Ronda itself, it is a good base for visiting the countryside around & the small hill towns there.

We loved staying at this hotel! It has a very nice, countryside feel to it and the staff is very nice. Our room was decorated in an Andalusian style, but it wasn't cheesy or old as most other hotel's decoration. The staff/family was superfriendly, they even gave us towels to use at the pool, which we had all to ourselves for an afternoon. Lastly, we especially liked how they use duvets instead of blankets :)

Although we liked pretty much anything, perhaps the variety of the breakfast could use some improving.

Staff were very lovely, welcoming us with a drink and keeping the kitchen open for our late arrival. They even prepared a little birthday cake for my partner with a candle. We managed to completely relax there, having the sound of the nearby stream in the background and the birds greeting us with their songs. We actually spent a lot of time on the balcony just enjoying the atmosphere. The food was amazing and we loved the friendly cats. There's also a small library with cakes in the afternoon. Just perfect! Ronda is just a 10 minute drive away.

Staff made all of the difference. Hotel is VERY clean - which is great. The restaurant is wonderful.

Location near highway and railroad tracks is not pretty to look at - but you don't notice once inside. The outdoor grounds need a little TLC...but we were there in early Spring so that's probably why.

A great place where to relax and enjoy the holiday. It's a family business and they are taking care of everything - it's a very pleasant family. I've recived an e-mail with instructions in arrival day. Food was very well prepared and interesting also the wine was very good. Free private parking is possible on site.

Extremely warm welcome and a very friendly hotel atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were very welcoming greeting us with champagne cocktails on arrival. There was a lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds . The hotel had been a former olive press and all reconstruction work was totally in keeping with the age and setting of the hotel with pleasant areas to sit outside and very comfortable attractively decorated and furnished bar and library areas with a good selection of books and board games to provide entertainment when not making the most of the outdoor areas. Afternoon tea, coffee of soft drinks and cake were complementary for all guests. Our evening meal served on the terrace was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was included and was excellent with a choice of cold meats, cheese, bread, fruit, jams and bread as well as eggs, bacon, toast etc. Highly recommended.

The warm welcome with champagne cocktails, afternoon tea and coffee and cake at 4pm each day, free, well included in price, served in the library a gem of a room where you could borrow books to read if you had the time that is !This is a nice traditional touch from uk we are happy to see revived.The Hotel was nearer Ronda than we realised and fitter folks walked in and took a taxi back.The rooms are cleaned daily, staff are very helpful and friendly and cheerful ready to help and give directions to villages nearby etc.The food, well, the best we have tasted in Spain so far, cooked to perfection, imaginative use of vegetables and the best of produce, fish, steak etc.Ian the chef makes good use of his talents and Elaine his wife does the other bits with style.All the staff are one big happy family helping each other get all the work done and with a smile too.We will use this hotel again when next in the area and will recommend it to friends travelling.A Little gem in the countryside just outside Ronda with a great swimming pool, I managed a swim just before the rain came down the next day ! Breakfast was scrumptious lots of Spanish fruit and different cheeses and serrano ham plus bacon and eggs on offer if you could manage them too.Best breakfast we have had in years in hotels.

This Hotel is in close proximity to a road which is the access road round to the hotel and other areas and near the railway line.It didnt bother us much but others might find it intrusive.The trains are roughly one per hour so not too bad.The bell going off to warn folks the train was coming was noisier than the train itself.Bring earplugs, then the problem is solved.We always travel with them anyway.

So very friendly, the staff, nothing was too much effort, food was excelent, fairly quiet apart from the occasional train. Central for touristy exploits & the mountains recommend it to any one.

The attention of staff was excellent - very welcoming. The restaurant meal was very good and the breakfast buffet the same. The room was comfortable and clean.

A 'menu of the day' would be good to be a bit more competitive in price with places in Ronda itself. Also a little attention to the neatness of the grounds as you walk from the car park into the hotel itself -we were a bit apprehensive about the quality of the place when we first arrived because of this. However once inside our concerns were eased. This is a very good hotel.

There is nothing not to like

The pool was good the young French girl was very nice and attentive to our needs I did get an email from the owner giving directions and asking our eta

The owner I am glad gave us directions as the address and postcode do not match exactly where the hotel is She was also a little uppity just because we did not want to eat at the hotel and took taxis into Ronda. When we checked out I am sure she couldn't wait for us to go would never go here again if she is like that with every guest she won't get many returns.

The family who own and run the hotel are delightful and make you fell totally at home. Everything is done on a personal level and it is the perfect place to relax.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been an added bonus.

A loveley hotel, Everything about the hotel is to a high standard. The owners make you feel very welcome. Nice touches like chocolates in a pretty box and champagne cooktails on arrival. Will be visting again shortly.

We loved everything about the hotel. The owners, Ian and Elaine, ran a very professional and friendly establishment. The rest of the staff were a delight. We enjoyed the breakfasts and it was great to find an excellent restaurant on site. We will certainly recommend the hotel to friends who are visiting the Ronda area.

The hotel was out of town but not too remote.The staff were extremely helpful and appeared happy at work.The breakfasts had a good variety and the food was well presented.We had a barbecue and a tapas night,both of which were adequate.Special mention for the Spanish member of staff (I was told her name but unfortunately I have forgotten it)she seemed to put her hand to everything and was always happy to help.
