The garden and the building are beautiful, the room was huge and well heated, nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and scrambled egg (though u need to pay extra for breakfast), high quality towels
Impossible to find, gps doesnt find the address, a hotel needs a sign from the highway or more clear directions where is the turn - maybe make a photo and send to people coming by car.
The hotel was beautiful, exactly what I wanted when booking it, a rural, spanish hotel in a lovely location. The staff were excellent, so helpful and polite. Definitely stay there again.
Only problem was the description of this hotel on booking.com was misleading. It states it is 4km from Ronda but was more like 10-12km to the town centre so not as close as I had expected and we would have liked.
rural setting is absolutely charming...a lovely break from the cities we have otherwise stayed in.
We came at night, went to sleep - and stayed for two more nights - so great it was! The location is perfect if you like rural tourism (which we do). The view is amazing. The hotel has a large garden and a pool area. Dogs are most welcome, even not so perfect ones. The staff are really great: we had a friend coming for a night, and they allowed it for no extra charge. The restaurant is just what one could hope for. We still remember the delicious duck confit. Breakfasts are more than copious, with freshly cooked eggs and squeezed orange juice. The road to the hotel is somewhat tricky, but we managed even in the night because it's sign-posted all the way. You need a car to get there, though.
We loved our stay at Molino del Arco. The hotel is in a nice quite location just out of town, so it perfect for rest & restoration. I could spend a week here!
We loved this Hotel the moment we saw it, it's Spanish charm, it's location. The great welcome at reception A very comfortable, relaxing room A good breakfast, a very good Restaurant menu, excellent food They liked dogs
Not a thing
Beautiful countryside location about 15 min outside of Ronda. Very quiet with brilliant stars on cold December nights and spectacular view of the valley by day. We had two adjoining, large rooms. The staff provided us firewood. Very romantic. The food was excellent. The gardens on the property were charming even in the winter. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
The WiFi in our room would not work despite multiple attempts by apologetic staff. We were offered a switch to a room with WiFi but liked ours too much.
Peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff, excellent food. An ideal place to relax.
Part of the track approaching the hotel was very bumpy in the car.
Actually all of the hotel. It is located in a very quiet place with a beautiful garden (exceptionalley well done) full with all sorts of trees. The whole hotel breaths style and and an atmosphere of well being. We felt like being at home with good friends.
one thing: the flies near the pool. but might be a seasonla thing. don't worry all the rest compensates
Beautiful unique hotel, set in an a stunning backdrop. I would love to come back
Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, great, quiet location. The real difference is the staff, they went out of their way to be sure that we were delighted with everything about the property.
Spacious but deceptively compact country house ideal location for packing the hiking boots. But still close enough for night town life. Great gardens around the courtyard and outdoor seating in for a drink in the light evening.
Didn't stay long enough.
Maintenance must imorove
The location surrounded by farm land is beautiful. No city noise . Easy ride into town. The food was good the staff friendly and helpful.
It's all good
Fabulous Rural Hotel just outside Ronda with gorgeous gardens and a beautiful pool. Staff was excellent, spoke English, Spanish, and several other languages. This was the most relaxing hotel I have ever stayed at in Spain. Honor bar with a huge variety of drinks and coffees in a beautiful lounge setting with outside terraces.
Situated a couple of miles outside Ronda in the countryside The narrow road to the hotel is well marked, even when it turns to a sand road for the last 1/2 mile or so. GPS does not work in this area outside Ronda. Wonderful atmosphere and superb food, both for dinner and breakfast. The bar, in a very comfortable sitting area, works on a self service and honor system, whereby guests just write down what the consume.
Only disadvantage is the narrow country road to the hotel without street lighting, which made us decide not to venture out at night. But the wonderful dinner royally compensated for that.
Several km outside of Ronda in a converted Olive Farm. Very pleasantly renovated. The pool area was pleasant but a few new sun chairs would not go amiss. The restaurant only has 10 tables so if you want to eat for dinner on site book your table upon arrival. The food was very good.
everything was perfect!!
Great situation. Especially Enjoyed Helpfull Staff, Garden, Pool, and Evening Meal. Would return
We arrived very late at 4am after driving down the typical Spanish dirt track, it wasn't a problem. The hotel is just stunning. Spent 2 nights in a suite and we wish it was longer. Large gardens with a lovely pool at the bottom, stunning hotel and scenery, evening meal in the garden. Food was fabulous.
Loved our experience! The grounds were beautiful and the staff were amazing. We had a spacious room and bathroom. Absolutely no complaints! Would definitely recommend to other travellers.
The hotel is isolated but still perfect for visiting Ronda, the Sierras and the pueblos blancos. The buildings and grounds and beautiful, but the highlight is the lovely swimming pool, at the end of the gardens, with incredible views over Andalucia. Dinner in the gardens was great, the food and service both faultless. I have never stayed or eaten somewhere so beautiful
This is not a criticism of the hotel but the road leading to it is quite rocky and potholed and I was a little worried about the underside of our clapped out little hire car!! Not the hotel´s fault but something to be aware of as the underside of hire cars are not always covered by insurance
Beautiful building and location. Nice room.
Lack of any sort of service. We only saw two members of staff in the 2 nights we were there - the lady on reception and the lday cooking in the hut. Lack of restaurant. The main kitchen was closed and what looked like a temporary restaurant (some tatty garden tables) was set up outside on the grass and a lady cooked in a hut. It is 2 miles down a dirt track, so it is a long drive to find dinner at another hotel/restaurant. The honesty bar was only cleaned once a day so it was really messy, full of dirty glasses, cups etc.
Room comfort. Quiet location.
