Location that is all
The smell, the noise no breakfast
beautiful court , spacious room, location is good, helpful staff
The hotel is very well located and the staff was very friendly. You can visit everything by foot, but take care if you are by car, because some streets are prohibited for visitors.
My room was 104 and it was right above the restaurant Los Manueles. Therefore, We heard a lot of noise during the nights. Don't stay in that room!
modern clean hotel, very conveniently located, friendly staff
Weak wifi on occasion. Really tough parking in the tight quarters of the underground parking lot. GPS screwed us up in getting through town to the hotel.
The city is of course amazing and the hotel is directly in the center, but very quiet. The structure is quite new and has a garage (which is however a little tricky, no long cars here!)
The room was cold and the WiFi veru weak.
- location - cleanliness - room space is fair for a 3-star hotel
- breakfast is poor not worth the price - room door is not isolated
What I did like about the hotel is its location. The cleanliness of the hotel, I suppose is a given expectation. One can easily find a wide selection of restaurants outside the hotel
One of the main business proposition of a hotel is customer service and this hotel, has the worst that i have encountered. The receptionists are constantly grumpy ...ok fine i understand and did not expect anything more or less. What ticked me of is when my coffee cups was left unwashed for two days! It was not that i could not have washed in myself, but we had to wake up early and catch our tours and since the room comes with room service, i left it there. On the second day, it happened again...everything else was cleaned but no one washed my cups or even refilled my coffee and tea sachets. Well, I do expect them since it was not a guest house or a hostel. The last time i checked, this place was a hotel! So when I called the receptionist and politely ask her, if room service did come in to clean the room, she was being defensive. I asked her to come up and see for herself. She eventually saw my unattended cups and when I then informed her that this happened two days in a row. To my surprise, the raised her voice (maybe she was just loud, i don't know) and said that i was suppose to keep the cups in the bathroom and not on the tray (where the cups were originally placed) and that they will assume that i was done with my coffee even if it very very little coffee in it. This was the first for me! so many things were running in my mind and I told her that this is the first time ever i have heard someone in a hotel tell me this. She gave another lecture when i asked if there will be a refill for my coffee and tea mentioning that it is JUST a compliment for one day and they will not top it even if you stayed for three nights. I did not bother much but it did make me wonder though. On the last day, before i left to Italy i went shopping and since we were rushing the careless me left one shopping bag behind at the hotel. I called them and tried to make arrangements but they were so unaccommodating.
Position good . Staff very help and pleasant. Restaurant was excellent. We would recommend it .
Great location very close to Alhambra, shopping and many outdoor restaurants and cafes. Staff very helpful with accurate advice how to pickup Alhambra tickets 3 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast with European brewed coffee. Coffee and tea available in the room. Clean very nice rooms.
the location and staff were excellent
a little noise comes thru the doors
We really liked the Hotel, it was clean, upto date and the staff were very nice. The restaurant/bar was also very well situated and it was nice to finish off the night with a drink at the end of the nght.
Slightly awkward to get a large car in the street and underground garage. Although once in it was very safe and sound.
Primarily the location is perfect for the Alhambra and other attractions. Parking on site also - but see opposite. Everyone helpful and attached restaurant was good.
The underground parking is very very tight. How someone got a BMW 4x4 down there is still a mystery
The location was perfect and the hotel was clean. These are two top qualities I measure ehen traveling. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Location - walking distance to Alhambra and city center. Tons of restaurants and shops around. Cabs close by for when needed. I had read some complaints from other guests about the hotel being hard to find and the nightmare of the surrounding streets but we had no trouble finding it and I'm guessing they've never driven in Spain before. We are Ametican expats living a couple hours away so the driving and surrounding area was pretty standard. Again I can't express how perfect the location was, we wanted city center and got it but it was still quiet enough from our room. Cleanliness - I always worry about this when traveling, especially with sheets but this room was in great condition, very simple and quaint but very clean bed and all! It rained while we were there and the hotel offered umbrellas to use which was very helpful.
The wifi connection was weaker than I would have liked but it was free and decent for the most part. Breakfast selection small but we did have some coffee and wine (on separate occasions) in their cafe. Parking was a little pricey and the garage was narrow. We managed and Im still happier to have had the car in a safe location close to us. I
Location right in heart of GranadaWhat's included & when This offer is valid for stays seven days a week until 31 March, 2015 Two nights' accommodation in a Standard Double room with daily full Welsh breakfast Additional nights on a B&B basis are an extra £40 per room, per night (payable direct to the hotel on booking)
Very poor breakfast for the price. One tostada, coffee and orange juice. Had to pay extra for more.
approach way is not easy according to the suggestion by the Hotel. It would be easier by Car Navigation. / Underground Parking is very narrow.
The room was clean and spacious. Location was excellent. You do have to pay for parking but we knew that and it's convenient. We tried the buffet at the hotel restaurant and it was overpriced. Just order off the menu instead or go across the street. Either way the hotel is a great value.
Very helpful staff
Location and friendly staff
Good size air conditioned room with a balcony. Good bathroom. Most hotels are a little skimpy on lighting but this hotel was the opposite. In the adjacent restaurant, for an extra 6 euros, one can order an omelette or bacon and eggs. Locations excellent for visiting tourist sites by foot. Staff knowledgeable and very helpful.
You could not get a better location when staying in Granada. 5 mins walk back downhill from the Alhambra (a bit longer going up!). Restaurants and tapas bars at the doorstep. Great shopping around the corner on Plaza Nuevo (with free rock bands on Friday night). Secure parking underneath the building. Windows are double glazed and block out virtually all street noise. Air conditioning is very efficient
Included breakfast is very basic (Orange juice, coffee, toast or croissant with jam) but if you want extra, such as eggs and bacon, they will provide at low charge about 3€. Had to initiate the WiFi access in reception area. Only then did it work in the room
Hotel is in a convenient position for making the most of Granada. Staff friendly and helpful.
Was attracted to the hotel by the `romantic` rooftop terrace shown in the hotel brochure ---------------------which was closed for refurbishment!! Anybody with a car larger than a Smart car will have a hard time negotiating the tight spiral entry to the underground parking.
The position and the staff
My room was to far away from the wyfi signal 310 had to open door and walk out a few steps
Excellent hotel just off the main square in the old town. One of the few hotels with its own underground car park with a lift straight up to the reception. Great shops and restaurants close by. We booked on a B&B basis and ended up eating at the hotels own restaurant, as the food was excellent quality, good value for money. A lot of spanish people eat their as well. All the staff, especially the bar and restaurant were 1st class. Would definitely stay their again!
Nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Location great and quite peaceful considering middle of town
The breakfast was very limited could have done with a littleore choice.
