The staff were exceptionally helpful and always very polite. Position great on La Rambla.

Staf was great with making reservations and helping out, room was very nice and quiet.

Just the location for us. too busy. Was great for one day though.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The location was perfect! Loved the dark-out blinds.

Very little except soap holder was in your way in the shower.

The room was quiet and of a good size. The bed was comfortable and we had all the facilities we needed. The staff tried to be helpful, and the hotel is very well located in the centre of town.

The entrance and lobby was not inviting or particularly attractive. There was no atmosphere in the common areas. It was not easy to get a drink at the bar. The roof area was barren, you were not suppose to take drinks up there, and it closed at 7pm.

The staff couldn't have been better, nicer and more accommodating! They were great! The lounge area with complimentary refreshments and comfortable seating was a pleasure.. The stay was a real experience.. Thank you..Mark and Barbara Lippman

Poor quality furniture apart from the bed. Badly designed shower/jacuzzi combination meant splash all over the floor. Cigarette burn on (laminate) table of no-smoking room. Wifi wasn't great

Friendly staff always willing and able to help. Great location, surprisingly silent in spite of location in the middle of a very busy LaRambla street, actually working complimentary WIFI.

The adjustable bed is a waste. A standard king size bed would definitely be more comfortable.

Hotel Montecarlo is in the perfect location on La Rambla. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak faultless English. Our standard room was newly renovated and spacious- very comfortable. Right nearby there is a large supermarket and fresh food markets, great for picking up fruit to supplement restaurant meals. We walked to many parts of the city. There are two metro stops an easy walk away, and the airport bus stops at Placa Catalunya, an easy walk to the hotel.

Only one trivial complaint- a box of tissues in the room would have been nice, rather than the meagre mini pocket pack!

The hotel was great and its central location on La Rambles being a bonus, excellent room and brilliant staff made our stay very enjoyable, a special mention about Quique and Silvia who provided us with an exception service, it is staff like these who turn a great hotel into something special

The restaurant wasn't very accessible. It wasn't even visible from the lobby, so we never tried it. It also seemed. Bit formal.

Absolutely nothing

Nice old building but modern comfortable room. Bed can be electrically adjusted. Jacuzzi bath. Plenty of space, good aircon. Location is wonderful on the Ramblas but my room was very quiet. Sun terrace is nice. Grand old salon where you can read on the first floor, good breakfast.

It's all great. I'll be back.

Central location at the Ramblas. Very friendly staff, all speaking good English. Nice and bright breakfast room with excellent breakfast at a very reasonable rate.

The only thing we might blame, was WiFi reception, which was not granted everywhere in our room in the 4th floor. However, compared to many hotels of the same class, it was positive to have WiFi in the room at all, and not only near the lobby!
