The hotel is at a relatively calm location in the village. There's a wealthy selection of food (including fish, fruits, bakery and pastries). It was very good that every dinner could be exchanged for a lunch even on the previous evening.

The selection of vegetables (for breakfast) could have been somewhat better.

Excellent staff -helpful & friendly. Restaurant service & management is very professional & pleasant. We enjoyed our stay there.

The staff were quite good, a little slow to take your drinks order after allocating a table in the restaurant. Food choice also quite reasonable with a freshly prepared choice at all meal times.

4 star, Hummm? The room we were first offered security was compromised via the patio door, it would not lock, the second room the air con did not work, there was no tea making facility in room, and why? Do you have to pay for a facility in the room, such as a safe, tv (remote ) it annoys me that hotels are given a 4 star rating when 4 star standards are not maintained.

Furniture require upgrade, really old.

The food and staff were excellent, the hotel very comfortable and relaxing both inside and round the pool. The bar prices are very reasonable too.

Ten am is too early to check out of your room.

One of the best hotels I have ever been in. Very friendly staff. Excellent location, at the end of Santa Susanna, opposite the train stop which does not disturb the staying, is rather additional atraction.We were given a room with the view of the sea. The room was very comfortable with flat tv, kettle and coffee express, cups and spoons. The tv pilot is to be borrowed from reception for 5 euro which is returned at checking out. The car park is in front at the entrance and is big enough, is free of charge. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Only two lifts, so you often have to wait, especially at meals time. The guests are mainly elderly Spanish people.You cannot order a meal at the restaurant bar because they are only listed in the bar menu.

Staff members very helpful. receptionists very helpful with guidance to city trips. The staff in the dining room very sensible to our needs as we had two people in our group who are coeliacs. Good food too.

Everywhere I've been in Santa Susanna breakfast is served at 8.00am. I wished it was earlier as there are no kettles in the rooms.

All the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, especially Thais and Carmem at the reception and Jose, Jamie, Fernando, Luis, Abdul in the restaurant. The chef provided a superb range of food for breakfast and dinner as well as show cooking the day specials. Every night there was live entertainment in the bar. The hotel is only about a minutes walk to the train stop, but you don't have to worry about noise. From here you can travel to Barcelona and Girona very easily (and several other places too). There's good supermarkets and smaller shops close by. The beach is less than five minutes walking and can be seen from the hotel. Loved the hotel and look forward to going back for another stay.

The pillows were not comfortable. The wifi was charged per device and made it very expensive, and didn't work in the pool area. The safe is not included in the room charge.

Not much for negative: Have to buy ticket for drinks from reception during lunch and dinner as its not included, but affordable price.

the hotel is very con for the train ,its in a quiet spot to relax and easy to get to buisier spots wen you need to ,i would not call it a 4 * though more like 3 the hotels either side are nicer looking , Now the subject of the food found most of it fine ,what you would expect no matter which hotel your in all h/b f/b or a/in the trays of food come from a factory and are brought in and reheated The higher star s av a chef cooking a few things like pancakes and eggs in the morning and some meat and fish at dinner .so if you want gourmet go s/c and dine out ,the cost was very good so no complaints about that .We ad a good time there , Would go again

price of drinks ,as they were cheaper next door in the caprice verd also the entertainment was better,ya can always go there as well anyway

There is nothing you can fault about this hotel. The management run a tight ship. Wonderful holiday.

I wish that the hotel had given out a leaflet to guests that told you what facilities the hotel offered. Also, a little info on the resort itself.

i liked location.

everything seemed to be an extra. like flying with ryanair! but maybe thats the direction hotels are going in as well. to be fair it was a good affordable price.. food was ok. across from train station. satisfied. but would stay somewhere else next time i think.

No faults whatsoever.

Good location for this hotel, 50 meters from a train station not noisy area and close to the beach, although you have to cross a main street, go underneath a railroad and last thru a camping ground to reach the beach. Just be aware, the beaches on this side of Spain are quiet dirty, plastic materials and cigarette butts all over the sand, way from being pleasant. The staff is extremely friendly whether in the restaurant, in the bar (early morning) or the reception. The restaurant has good food, for the guests who are none meat eaters like us, the variation is great, lots of fish of all kind. The drink system and no towels for the swimming pool are kinda strange for a 4 stars hotel…. read the other comments, they are accurate.

Yes it is a 4 stars hotel for “Spain”, but a tree star minus for France, Italie or for some other countries in the world like Dubaï, USA or Malaysia (we are big travellers! ). Just an advise, do not book for more than 5 days in this city, unless you want to be bored like hell ! We spent 12 nights in this hotel,after 4 days, the area happened to be dreadful for our couple and a 7 years old child !
