Area information
Los Barrios is an interesting area as it is bathed by both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. In the area there area some of the best golf courses and beaches in Spain.
The area was principally an agricultural and fishing district although in recent years it has been heavily industrialised. One of the main attractions of the area is its numerous parks and botanic gardens such as the Betty Molesworth tricentennial park.
