everything was fine, kind personal, clean rooms. Breakfast was ok but it would be great to have something hot (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, roasted bacon etc) on the buffet. It's to visite again

liked the pool which was great for children, big enough. rooms were not too big, but big enough. food at the restaurant bufee was fine (could be better and more variable, but was still eatable and ok). location is near to beach (though the beach itself is not that popular and swimmable - very deep and sudden). .

rooms are tired, need badly restauration. last time they painted it was probably at 1970s. definately not a 3 stars hotel. would give max 2 stars as it is right now. every other night there`s a party in the bar downstairs with live music (just some cheap one-man bands) and it is too loud. can`t get to sleep at normal time. especially annoying when you got children with you. the hotel service wasn`t too helping, but that`s probably just because of the catalans identity - they are very silent and not very talkie :)

It was fine, everything we needed, the meals served well with choice... We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool wifi was a bit slow but something you can cope with for a couple of days. Would go again

Nothing... We have been in other spainish hotels ,some better some worse, but this hotel suited our needs for the short break we had, cannot understand some of the other guest comments

The staff was helpful and friendly. Dinners were Ok, especially the Catalan day on Thursday.

Maybe, if it was the first 3* hotel I stayed in in Spain I would find it OK. But we stayed in different Spanish 3* hotels many times before and I was really shocked by the shabbiness of that one. Then we got used to a strange plywood (!!) wardrobe with dirty walls inside and worn out brown bedcovers... So really depressing at first site. Breakfasts are a disaster - no warm food at all, just the cheapest cheese, sausages, and pastry. Even scrambled eggs would improve it greatly. We booked the room at a discounted rate which was fair unlike the real price before the discount. If we booked at normal rate, I would be much more disappointed as that other rate does not match the quality of the hotel. Wi-Fi connection is almost non-existent. But that seems to be a general problem for Platja d'Aro.
