This typically Spanish, atmospheric hotel was excellent - clean, comfortable and with a private balcony situated in the heart of the old town. Staff were very friendly. The hotel also has a terrace bar with view over the cathedral - very romantic. Would definitely return

The location was perfect, an easy walk from the train and a freindly walking city. We had breakfast included and that was also very nice. There is a roof top area for drinks and amazing views if the church. The room was very small, maybe 10ft by 10ft, a small desk and chair. We could only read sitting on the twin beds. Because there was rain we were in moere than we liked to be which made the room size more obvious.

Quintessential european experience as cab could not pull up to door so we had to walk down a quaint alley to reach the property. Once there the staff was fine and helpful. Only complaint was vending machine ripped me off but staff opened it and got my goodie. Great experience overall and loved seville.

The hotel is very well situated for a great visit to Seville. It is in a quiet location right in the middle of the "barri". The breakfast was mediocre at best.

The location the old town was great - very close to the cathedral and the Real Alcazar. The room itself was small, but the shower was absolutely tiny and very uncomfortable to use.

The Hotel Murillo is lovely. The lobby is nicely done, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location perfect. The hotel is on a pedestrian street so you'll need to park at a nearby parking lot if you are traveling by car to Seville. Study the map in advance to find your way there. Even after you park your car you'll need to navigate the streets on foot to find the hotel in the maze of streets in Santa Cruz neighborhood so being familiar with the pedestrian street will help. The hotel's location in the ancient barrio Santa Cruz can't be beat. You are very close to all the big sites and there are unlimited places to shop, drink and eat. Enjoy this wonderful place, but BE VERY CAREFUL OF PICKPOCKETS!! The cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and well worth a visit. The Alcazar, previously a Moorish Castle is very nearby and is not to be missed! Seville is very walkable. If you have time walk down to the Guadalquivir River, cross the bridge to the barrio Triana and enjoy lunch at a cafe on the river. The scene is fun and food of course is delicious. Our room was very small and the shower was tiny! I know this is not unusual in Europe, but in our 12 days traveling in Spain we never experienced such a tiny shower. It was kinda funny, but if you needed to bend over in the shower you'd need to open the door (and I am a size 6 lady). My daughter was in another room in the hotel and her shower wasn't that tiny so I guess one needs to take a chance. This situation wouldn't keep me from going there again because the location is so perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Murillo. We had a large room 319 which was away from the other rooms. Unfortunately internet access is only available from the Lobby. Like most of the hotels in the middle of the old town, some rooms could be noisy because of the echoing down the small alleyways.

Location is good but you need to be warend that there is no access to the hotel except on foot for the last block. Taxis cannot get into the street so you need to transport your luggage from the plaza. Lobby was very nice and so was the roof top. Desk staff can speak multiple languages fluently and were very efficient Room was small and so were the lifts.

Excellent location close to cathedral and in centre of old town. Inevitably, with such an old building, the construction/lack of sound proofing meant every noise within the building carried. The noise from the street was minimal given the location. Take ear plugs if this may bother you.

Helpful staff, speak English fluently. Good location and quiet. To take a taxi from hotel to train station is about 10euro. Wifi only available in public area is a bit inconvenient. The hotel is not on main street, not very easy to find, but it's ok.

Great location Difficult to find. Taxi dropped us off at the edge of the pedestrian zone. No signs for the hotel. That area of the old city is confusing until you get your bearings. We wandered with our luggage for a while until we located the hotel.
