Lack of precise directions to hotel
Very small room but good sized bathroom Comfortable bed but hard, lumpy pillows
This is a great hotel - I would definitely recommend it. The superior twin room was basic, but very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was very good, always plenty of hot water. It was nice to be able to sit out on the balcony. Breakfast was included - scrambled eggs and bacon, cold meats and cheese, fresh coffee and orange juice, toast, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. The hotel is ideally situated in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, so really convenient and walking distance to the tourist attractions, with good food and bars nearby.
Some noise from the street below, but to be expected in the position it is.
The location for the old town, the Jewish quarter and the monuments was perfect. The public areas were beautifully decorated and quite atmospheric and the staff were lovely.
Our room was on the ground floor and near the lift which was very noisy and started creaking up and down from 0600. Sound proofing in rooms seemed to be non-existent - we could hear people talking in the corridors and next door clearly. Minor inconvenience, but a shame.
Very good location in old town, and very Seville style
A little bit small
Good location, very nice artistic and clean hotel. Friendly helpful reception
No issues at all. It didn't come with breakfast but we had to check out early in the morning and they served us coffee and nice pastries on our way out. We enjoyed our stay alot.
Noise in bedroom
The staff, location and lobby were great
The room was very spare with no cahrm or amenities. The wondow opened onto an airshaft with food smells
Location to Alcazar palace and city centre and cafes. Reception staff excellent and helpful
Poor sleep quality on cheap mattress, street view from Rm 211 was to abandoned room with cigarette butts strewn everywhere. Poor breakfast - stale rolls and bread. The hotel is a bit fake spanish on entering.
Accessibility to everything....and choices of places to eat and drink in front of hotel and nearby Couteous service of staff
Parking...and finding hotel
Simple, but clean and in very good location.
Beautiful hotel in excellent location with a good breakfast.
Stayed for 6 nights and did not change the sheet once only fresh towels every day.
The staff at the Murillo were helpful, kind, patient, and efficient on every topic. The location is excellent in the heart of the Barrio Santa Cruz, with it's narrow winding streets. Very clean, nice view from rooftop terrace. Even with a room on the street, it was quiet at night.
Some rooms are quite small with a very small shower. We moved to a larger room.
Cute hotel, central to main parts of Seville. Great restaurant opposite.
The gentleman at reception who addressed my complaint about being assigned a twin room when a queen room was booked. He corrected the matter by switching us to a larger bed room for our second night at the hotel. He was very helpful anytime we needed his service.
We booked a queen room months in advance, and were given a given a twin room upon arrival which was not in the best condition. The twin beds were pushed together, but were not even made up with bedding to function as a "double bed" as hotels commonly do, so as a couple, it was very difficult to sleep together. The girl who checked us in could have been much more helpful. Thankfully the gentleman at the desk the next two days was terrific.
- Great little hotel with a character :) - Nice and helpfull staff - Good and tasty breakfast - Great location, close to centrum - Kind of hiden in small Sevilla's alleys, which makes it even more charming ;)
- Do not have a parking close by (had to park like 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel)
very good location in old town, near the cathedral and Alcazar, friendly and helpful personal breakfast not good >(not fresh tomatos, salad etc)
Friendly and helpful staff Great location
location staff roof terrace balcony cleanliness
a bit pricey but worth it for a short stay
Location, very near to must see places
Wifi, very poor. In our room didnot manage connacting wifi.
Great location, helpful staff
Great value and a superb location. Lovely view from the rooftop bar. Three minutes walk from the cathedral, tucked away down an atmospheric maze of alleyways.
No complaints about anything really. We didn't bother with the breakfast as we knew were going to be having late night fun but in this part of town you're never more than a minute away from a friendly bar or cervezeria for refreshments.
Bed not comfortable. We were in room 501, which had a fire exit in the room! This meant we had small green lights on top of the emergency exit the lit all night during our sleep.
Location Cleanliness of room
poor customer service. We came in to the hotel originally to enquire and were waiting for 20mins before decided to leave. We thought we would give it a go and later booked the room through booking.com for 47euro. On arrival we were told to wait a moment while the two staff members had what I assumed was a shift hand over. Sorry but, if there are customers waiting to check in, you would think they would tend to them FIRST and then explain whatever they needed to their colleagues. The check in took over 15minutes of us standing there while the girl input our details. On my booking I specifically requested for a room with a balcony (as shown in the pictures of the room type) and a room with WIFI (as a given....as booking.com features say wifi throughout). The room was small, tiny. No balcony just a dirty windows that looked out to air conditioners of other rooms. NO WIFI access in the room AT ALL. Called reception and there was nothing she would do, I also went down to reception and the young lady was dismissive and said there was absolutely no other options. She eventually showed me a dungeon room on the first flow with no natural light and with one bar of wifi signal. Bed too soft. Not good enough. Wouldn't go back and would not recommend. You need to park out of the old town, (as when staying in the old town of any city) Poor service, poor facilities and poor room. Find something else.
