Rooms closed to the elevator (noisy). Ask for changing: not a problem when the hotel is not full booked
The hotel cafe bar located opposite was delightful. Polite staff, full of character and charm. Good location.
Basic rooms. Good location, close to beautiful architecture, Alcazar Palace and the cathedral. But the hotel is smack bang in the tourist region. Big groups of site seeing tours walking by constantly throughout the day. An area definitely set up for tourists, lots of souvenir shops etc.
The location Ramon who is very helpfull
The noise due to : . people speaking close to our room. . Air conditioner
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfectly situated very close to Murillo Gardens and a 5 minute walk to the old part of town. The facilities were all we needed for a 2 night city break. We had a lovely stay.
We could hear a lot of noise from the street below. Being narrow, old streets, the noise carried at night and did cause disturbed sleep. Double-glazing would have helped.
The location could not be better. In the heart of the old town. Walking distance everywhere. I highly recommend to make the tour with "feel the city". They pick you up at the hotel and was jsut amazing!
I was highly dissappointed by the room we had the first night. I made a reservation 3 weeks before our arrival and they still acommodated us (3 adults) in a two tiny person room. smal bathroom, no space to walk, no place to put the bags, no interent. My mom almost felt trying to walk to the toilet in the middle of the night cause there was no space to walk. Next Day, I came to the reception and asked for a chage which they did. Second night was much better. They should have separated a 3 person room for us since we did the reservation. IT is not like we arrived last minute to the hotel and they acommodated us how they could. If they don't have a "normal 3 person room" they should not say they have. Then you know you have to look for another option. Staff in the reception are always busy. (it is a big hotel). You end up doing a line everytime you want to ask for somehting. they didn't have any arrangment with parkings to make it a bit cheaper like other hotels in andalucia. You don't go to seville to watch TV. but their screen TV is really small. (just in case)
The hotel location means you are within minutes of the cathedral, the alcazar, the gardens and the main shopping streets. So many bars and restaurants to choose from in the vicinity.
The rooftop terrace is fabulous, it was a shame the bar wasn't open in October despite it being a sunny 32 degrees.
staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty Rooms were of a good standard
We paid for superior rooms and we found that the pipe leading from the cafe below expelled carbon monoxide and we were smoked out, so we were unable to use our balcony which is what made the room superior. My parents are elderly and we would have liked to known that you couldn't get a car any where near the hotel that took us 2hrs to find even with the help of locals
the smell in the batroom was horrible, and its quite loud in the rooms, any wisper can be heard. Too much noise
Lack of precise directions to hotel
Very small room but good sized bathroom Comfortable bed but hard, lumpy pillows
This is a great hotel - I would definitely recommend it. The superior twin room was basic, but very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was very good, always plenty of hot water. It was nice to be able to sit out on the balcony. Breakfast was included - scrambled eggs and bacon, cold meats and cheese, fresh coffee and orange juice, toast, pastries, fruit and yoghurt. The hotel is ideally situated in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, so really convenient and walking distance to the tourist attractions, with good food and bars nearby.
Some noise from the street below, but to be expected in the position it is.
The location for the old town, the Jewish quarter and the monuments was perfect. The public areas were beautifully decorated and quite atmospheric and the staff were lovely.
Our room was on the ground floor and near the lift which was very noisy and started creaking up and down from 0600. Sound proofing in rooms seemed to be non-existent - we could hear people talking in the corridors and next door clearly. Minor inconvenience, but a shame.
Very good location in old town, and very Seville style
A little bit small
Good location, very nice artistic and clean hotel. Friendly helpful reception
No issues at all. It didn't come with breakfast but we had to check out early in the morning and they served us coffee and nice pastries on our way out. We enjoyed our stay alot.
Noise in bedroom
The staff, location and lobby were great
The room was very spare with no cahrm or amenities. The wondow opened onto an airshaft with food smells
Location to Alcazar palace and city centre and cafes. Reception staff excellent and helpful
Poor sleep quality on cheap mattress, street view from Rm 211 was to abandoned room with cigarette butts strewn everywhere. Poor breakfast - stale rolls and bread. The hotel is a bit fake spanish on entering.
Accessibility to everything....and choices of places to eat and drink in front of hotel and nearby Couteous service of staff
Parking...and finding hotel
Simple, but clean and in very good location.
Beautiful hotel in excellent location with a good breakfast.
Stayed for 6 nights and did not change the sheet once only fresh towels every day.
The staff at the Murillo were helpful, kind, patient, and efficient on every topic. The location is excellent in the heart of the Barrio Santa Cruz, with it's narrow winding streets. Very clean, nice view from rooftop terrace. Even with a room on the street, it was quiet at night.
Some rooms are quite small with a very small shower. We moved to a larger room.
Cute hotel, central to main parts of Seville. Great restaurant opposite.
The gentleman at reception who addressed my complaint about being assigned a twin room when a queen room was booked. He corrected the matter by switching us to a larger bed room for our second night at the hotel. He was very helpful anytime we needed his service.
We booked a queen room months in advance, and were given a given a twin room upon arrival which was not in the best condition. The twin beds were pushed together, but were not even made up with bedding to function as a "double bed" as hotels commonly do, so as a couple, it was very difficult to sleep together. The girl who checked us in could have been much more helpful. Thankfully the gentleman at the desk the next two days was terrific.
- Great little hotel with a character :) - Nice and helpfull staff - Good and tasty breakfast - Great location, close to centrum - Kind of hiden in small Sevilla's alleys, which makes it even more charming ;)
- Do not have a parking close by (had to park like 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel)
very good location in old town, near the cathedral and Alcazar, friendly and helpful personal breakfast not good >(not fresh tomatos, salad etc)
