Locations, boutique Feel, friendly warmth.scented candles.

No tea ,coffee making facility for guests, Staff not inclined to step aside for guests when they are working at their duties. Did not renew water bottle though we were there 4 nights.

Staff were friendly and helpful; breakfast very good especially for the rate we were offered; comfy beds and quality bedlinen; very nice hotel with interesting history; great area to explore with the charming Barcelona Cathedral and it's geese at the end of the street; wonderful quirky shops

You need to remember that staying in thecity can be noisy as the streets are labyrinth and narrow, and sound carries; please bear this in mind - it's still a lovely area for a city break

This is an outstanding, small luxury hotel. In the midst of the bustling Gothic quarter, it is very calm and quiet. Restauant is excellent as are all amenities and a highly efficient and caring staff

A small delightful hotel in the heart of the Gothic area. The staff were very anxious to please and the charm of the old building that is completely renovated was worth the inconvenience of getting there. Tip: once you get there they call you cabs to meet you at the door.

The staff were excellent,professional and knowledgeable. I loved the hotel design and the luxury feeling and the bathroom amenities for the guests (shampoo,body cream). I also liked the area and the small little streets. The breakfast was very good delicious and fresh.

I would have liked a spa (small jacuzzi or pool) and a bigger menu for dinner. We ate in quite a few times and ordered room service because we were tired at night as we were out all day and we would have liked a wider choice of food.

Perfect location near Cathedral and Ramblas. breakfast was a delight with individual platters delivered to the table. Beautiful bedroom, well equipped.

There is no bath in the bathroom of the standard rooms, only a walk in huge shower. This is not a complaint, but perhaps should have been pointed out in the room description.

An unbelievable location and the most charming part of the old city. The service was wonderful.

I Absoloutly loved the Room, and the building was amazing. The staff are extreamly friendly and very helpful. The bathroom had everything you need, and the entire atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. The location was also perfect as it was right next to the Cathedral and near all the attractions as it was in the city center. I will definatly visit again.

Very difficult for cars to enter, and it can be a bit noisy sometimes do to many toursits walking outside.

The hotel was in a great location. It was beautifully kept and very relaxing.

My biggest complaint was the lack of service. There was only one person working at a time and while some of the front desk people were very helpful and knowledgable, others were not.

Hotel Neri is a superb hotel. Real value for money. It's location is great for shopping and sightseeing. The chef in Hotel Neri is a great chef. We enjoyed our evening meals in the restaurant. We enjoyed the experimental way of cooking. We'll be back !

The Hotel Neri is a lovely boutique hotel in the charming Barrio Gotic area of Barcelona. The guest rooms/ bathrooms are beautifully appointed, very serene and luxurious. The beds are scrumptious - wonderful mattresses, cushy pillows, and fine linens. The hotel staff is extremely accomodating, especially the front desk. Mara and Jacopo ( not spelled correctly I'm sure) were so great at helping us with dinner reservations and any other concerns we expressed. The Hotel Neri certainly lived up to the high rankings and excellent reputation it has quickly earned. It is a quiet, tranquil oasis in the middle of a large, wonderful city, yet located only a five minute walk from the Ramblas. I would highly recommend it.

Small boutique hotel in excellent location in Gotic neighborhood. Room was large and comfortable with small balcony - sometimes during the day a bit noisy from children in Neri Square. Consierge services spotty depending on persons at reception. Some of the service people were just excellent and very accommodating.

Despite having an expensive room you don't get breakfast specials because you booked through Bookings.com. If you order continental breakfast, as opposed to their full buffet service, they set you up in bar rather than white table cloth service in dining area. This was just a minor inconvenience that we ended up laughing about, but also a bit discriminatory.

Fabulous location... Intimate and sophisticated... A very pleasant experience.

historic bldg, completely modern

It was a small boutique hotel tucked away down a narrow street. The hotel was unique and beautifully decorated. It is near many historical sights and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful since none in our party spoke Spanish. Loved this hotel.

Das Zimmer war schön, aber der Balkon konnte kaum benutzt werden, da er eng und eher dunkel ist, aber das liegt natürlich an den engen Gassen.

Schade, das das Cafe auf dem kleinen Platz nicht offen hatte. Es war halt eher noch kühl.

Die Lage im Herzen der Altstadt und das Ambiente des Hotels sind eindrucksvoll. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hervorragendes Restaurant mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Haus.

Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer könnte besser sein.
