The staff were very warm and helpful.
The hotel is beautiful, quiet and extremely will located. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to friends and stay there again. That said, I would book a larger room!
We should have booked a larger room. Though beautiful, our room was very small and we had very little room for our weeks worth of belongings.
Large, very comfortable room, beautifully decorated, in the heart of old-town. All we could ask for.
Staff, ambience location
Laundry service food
Near a lot of good resturants Wallking distance to the harbour
Front desk/concierge were extremely helpful and willing to assist us in English. Location was in historic Gothic quarter with easy access to La Rambla, cathedral and shopping
Tried to have dinner in the restaurant but unable to because they were booked both nights
location is fantastic in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived. A beautiful hotel with a lovely atmosphere.
couldn't fault it.
The hotel Neei is excelent quality. We only had a standard room but whilst smaller than other rooms the quality was superb. The bathroom with shower was top class. Being in the Gothic quarter it is easy to loose ones bearings as we did a couple of times but Barcelona and the Neri has everything you could want. All of the staff at the Neri very polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Great location, right in the heart of Barcelona near the cathedral.
Wifi was not very easy to use.
Would definitely stay again
The location cannot be bettered, within a few short steps of the Cathedral and in the beautiful old city. Other great aspects of this hotel were the very friendly staff, the lovely restaurant, and decent breakfast in a lovely breakfast room looking out on the old streets.
Although the breakfast room was lovely, and the breakfast was OK, it just wasn't worth what we were charged for it. Next time we stay here we will probably find somewhere else to have a much more elaborate breakfast for less cost. Also although the room (107) was quite nice, there were a few things that I was not entirely happy about. Firstly, this room is totally overlooked through its windows from other windows on adjoining properties which are only about fifteen feet away. As a result for most of the time we had to have our curtains closed. The windows were not even provided with mesh curtains or the like to obscure the view into the rooms. Secondly the spot lighting was terrible in terms of providing dim lighting overall and what there was concentrated in pools of light. Coupled with the fact that the lights were all high-energy halogen lamps rather than more modern LEDs it felt like someone had not paid this aspect of the room any intelligent thought. These negatives do not totally detract from the hotel as it has much to recommend it, but at the price these issues should be addressed.
This magnificently restored villa in in charming old quarter has great esprit d'corps of staff--ready to help in any way. This included tracking down camera lost in taxi, sending it home to us after return to States. Room was elegant, comfortable.
Perfect position/ Upstairs bar area/ service
Everything! The building is gorgeous, location great, staff warm and provided truly great service. Lovely rooms with great shower and one with hammock.
Tea and coffee in the afternoon in the lobby. The decor... the staff and the excellent location...all good...
The ambience and respectful way I was treated. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. I most certainly would recommend this wonderful Hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again!
There is not anything not to like. However, I did think the furniture looked a bit "tired". Most 5 star hotels provide shower caps and the one tea bag really is not enough for tea drinkers.
Love everithing about the hotel.
Wi-fi has poor signal and slow
Fantastic location, very helpful staff, and we liked the decor. Would thoroughly recommend Hotel Neri for a city break in Barcelona.
Very good hotel in the heart of the city would stay here again.
The atmosphere was lovely, the candles had a divine scent, the breakfast were really good, but most of all all the staff were fabulous extremely helpful ,friendly and most spoke very good English, big thankyou to them
we had a few small issues, towels missing one day, no teabags for 2 days, electricity kept failing and needed to be reset on a regular basis,in one of the rooms...we did not have any electrical items with us , just phones bit the hotel seemed unable to solve the problem, we just got used to resetting the trip switch.....
The location was just superb and so much history behind the building and the square. We had the Neri Suite really lovely I would stay there again
The staff were absolutely wonderful. The location perfect and the overall ambiance was amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
We loved the hotel's old building and the quiet streets in the area. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful.
that we didn't stay longer!
The location was central to the Metro if you could locate the Hotel in the maze of streets. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
If you have allergies or asthma you should not stay here. They used a lot of perfumes and aromas in their cleaning products.
Too noises. Needs double glazing.
