For the staff, location, services and cleanliness, one of the best values in Madrid. I've been to Madrid many times and this is by far the best option. (Be sure to ask to see the ruins behind the check-in counter. Awesome. The original foundations of the city.)
We had to leave.
Room was clean large and quiet. The staff especially Juan Jose and Javier very helpful. We needed ice for a sore back and they vacu-sealed it. Good recommendations for tapas. Excellent location for walking tours.
Centrally located, Breakfast buffer is very good ' you can also order ala carte from the buffet.
Loved the breakfast and central location
A great position in Madrid.
Firm beds Quiet rooms Fantastic breakfast
Musty smell in room
Views and location
Breakfast fairly average
All the above
Linda, Sydney Location was great. Breakfast buffet very good indeed with wide selection plus cooked dishes if wished. Good Tapas bar alongside. Staff very helpful.
location is good
the room is too small compare to the other 5 star hotels that i have ever stayed.
Location, staff nice room
Over priced breakfast
Very nice location, safe box in the rooms big enough for my 15 inc Mac, nice food, outside the door at least 30 restaurants and 2 plazas for lunch and night meal, walking distance to the center of Madrid
location, coffe machine,
SIngle room - very small and very dark (window very small with the view on the inner installation - terrible) - Breakfast almost 30Eur.
Perfect location and couldn't fault the hotel, staff very welcoming
Location is most central, many places are easily accessableincluding indian restraurants, staff is very cool and helpfull, appreciate their temprament Breakfast was excellent
Room door does not have safety chain and may be also eye hole for safety of family
Very comfortable with great service, very clean, excellent breakfast.
great location and service
Perfect location, great spacious jr. suite with a nice little balcony overlooking the plaza, excellent service, great breakfast, beautiful accommodations.
The receptionists, though wonderfully pleasant, didn't have a clue regarding hot restaurants and kept sending us to tourist traps. The concierge was infinitely better, but often quite busy. Also, the "gym" is an extremely basic fitness room (e.g., no barbells).
Everything was great, especially the location which was a few yards from Plaza de Santa Ana and about 5 min walk from subway station. Rooms were really clean and nice and large too.
Breakfast was 27 Euros each per day so it was just not worth it
The hotel was located within walking distance of most of the central sites. On arrival there was an amazingly pleasant aroma of flowers at reception. Staff were welcoming and polite regardless of the time or duties they fulfilled for the guests. Furthermore, a free gym was located on the first floor, which remained opened throughout the night, alongside complimentary bottles of water. The Junior Suite was spotless with a modern airy feel due to the sheer black curtains overlooking three balconies. Additionally, bathroom products even included a hair mask. Yet the most exciting element of the hotel's services included four long tables of breakfast options - both for the hungry and the dieter! Other aspects of the hotel involved a business lounge equipped with a computer, and a tea lounge. A hotel worthy of high praise indeed.
Over priced mini bar.
I loved the location - very close to the Plaza Santa Ana and all its eating places, close to the Puerta del Sol with its shopping, and to the old part of Madrid around the Plaza Mayor. I loved my room in the hotel, the high ceilings, the balcony, the coffee making facilities, the TV with an international selection of programmes, my bathroom, where everything worked fine. All very clean plus a comfortable bed. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
Nothing at all.
Good location, pretty building an nice bathroom.
Extremely loud traffic noises at night keep us from a good nights sleep. Wi Fi did not work.
