Great design-hotel

I like the rooms and the design

Not so much the entrance ... it looked like a hostel.

The hotel looks new and very modern, with all kinds of technology around. Definitely business oriented, without any personal touch. Breakfast is good, free and well working internet connection, impossibly spacious and secure parking, etc. I would avoid restaurant and take a 15 minutes walk to old city centre, way better and cheaper food.

I got a bit annoyed at check-in, reservation doesn't allow you to choose between twin and double beds, which is ok, as long as somebody reads comments. I asked specifically for king-size bed, but apparently it was completely ignored. Add to this less-than-polite way of saying things by staff.

NH Girona is reasonably well-located, about a 15 minutes from the old town. The hotel is very comfortable, and well appointed. The room can feel a little stark/sterile sometimes, but it is definitely clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

Lovely, very comfortable rooms. The hotel is in an excellent location in the city, lovely views of the mountains and not far from the old town. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely be staying again.

Close to convention centre. Breakfast was good. Slate in bathroom was very stylish, raised the tone of the overall design impression.

I found it odd that instead of a double bed I had two twin beds pushed together. It's not the same thing.

It was a beautiful hotel and would highly recommend it to all travellers. It is about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Girona but well worth the effort to stay here.

The pool area is quite small but to have a pool at all was a great bonus

There were no bar, cafeteria or restaurant facilities at all for the last 2 weeks of August.

The hotel was one of the best we stayed in during a 3 week tour of France and Spain. The location was great, underground car parking, fantastic room. We booked a junior suite and this for once was a proper suite, separate bedroom/lounge area, beautiful bathroom and lots of wardrobe space. many suites we stayed in were not suites at all, just glorified rooms. A decent safe, great lighting, 2 flat screen TVs, massive bed, lovely rooftop pool, just big enough to cool off. It was on a par with the Miramar in Barcelona, a 5 star hotel that cost more than double the nH per night. The staff (we met 2 members) were also great, helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The hotel also phoned us back on the basis of our booking note needing interconnecting rooms, as we originally booked a suite and a std room for the kids, to say that although the website said maximum 1 child in a suite, they would allow 2, so we didn't need the second room. The kids were very comfortable in their large sofa bed in the lounge with a large flat screen TV!

Very helpful staff, especially the young lady who helped me locate a tyre fitter for my car.

The staff in particular the reception staff are excellent. They are helpful and obliging and do their best to facilitate the needs of guests.

We loved the comfort and security offered by this hotel!

Slightly off the beaten track though this afforded us a decent walk every day so it was a positive and a negative!

The welcome was friendly and the staff were very helpful in telling us what to see etc. The room was lovely and we felt like we were staying in luxury. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice so it was so easy to find something to eat! Would definitely look up other NH hotels to stay in!

Comfort and crowded pool

Great hotel, very well priced considering the quality. Modern facilities (swipe up to use the lift!) and lovely swimming pool on the roof. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the old town, making it a perfect destination - you don't pay the cindy centre prices, but it's close enough not to need a taxi or car.

The swimming pool was smaller than expected, and they could've included a bar in the seating area, but overall the pool was well kept and clean. Needed more sun loungers but restricted by space.

Staff were helpful and friendly when we arrived at 12.30am. Easy walk to old town. Beautiful rooms, lovely towels, beds good. Lovely swimming pool with views on roof. Excellent tasty breakfast. WiFi very easy. Would stay again.

It is not too far from the tourist areas an it is a nice walk through the park. The roof top pool is a real bonus in the hot sun. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean tidy and comfortable. The price as very good. I would definitley use this hotel again.

Staff is very friendly to help you out on anything. Swimming pool is a bonus.
