Excellent location, breakfast, parking, good value for money
Internet is a bit slow, a bit noisy
Excellent breakfast selection for discounted price. Pleasant desc staff. Very good location, walking neighborhood,3-5 minutes walk from Plaza de Toros, 5 minutes from metro station to have access to city centrum. ( apron 45 min walk to city centrum).
We had to remind several times service for cleaning the room. Internet connection was for free but very, very weak and limited. You have to buy additional internet service if you want better connection. Uncomfortable pillows and difficult to adjust a room temperature, so the quality of sleep was not rested.
location The view
- small room - thin walls (you hear everything in the next room) - wifi is very slow, couldnt check my email!!! - front doors were constantly jammed - you cant put sma£ towels anywhere near the sink Certainly not worth 90eur per night!
I really liked the area. I traveled for business but my family was with me -- wife and young child. The neighborhood was very kid friendly and residential. Many locals, many places to eat and really got a sense of what it's like to live in Madrid.
Because the rooms are made on concrete the wifi signal in the rooms is horrible. Also, i was stuck working in the room on the weekend and the "premium" service only allowed a maximum upload of 250MB/day. That's not acceptable when you're paying 10 euros. The wifi has to be seriously improved. For me, it is one of the most important amenities. Also, it should be free (included in the cost of the room) and available for all devices. If internet is really important to you, i recommend the Abba Madrid. Much, much better business hotel and quieter, but not as nice.
Breakfast excellent, location, price
Wifi - you have to relog-in every half an hour, staff-they broke my laptop charger, too much noise in the evening (bus station in front of the hotel)
Breakfast was excellent, great selection of fresh food. The receptionist kindly moved me to a nice more quiet room after I complained about the noise from the lift in the room that I was given on my arrival. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area near Plaza de Toros.
Not all receptionists speak English fluently. The free wireless connection was rather slow. It takes about an hour to walk to Puerta del Sol, but there are buses and metro connections nearby.
Staff is great. Very clean. Good food at the restaurant.
Not soundproofed at all despite being advertised. Hot water constantly changing from hot to cold.
This hotel is not central but for someone passing by Madrid is a very good choice: Gran Via or Sol are 15 minutes by bus and the M30 Ring is close by. Hotel services are good, breakfast very good.
Swimming pool Free internet Cleanliness Facilities
Internet- connection was via this weird system
The breakfast buffet was excellent! The girls at reception were extremely helpful. Bell boys very courteous and attentive, I was very confortable and please. Very close to ventas metro station and most of all very safe in a very exclusive neighbor of Salamanca. I will stay again when back in Madrid.
Quality of breakfast was outstanding ! Rooms very comfortable ...
I could not really fault the hotel until my early departure on a Sunday morning... Breakfast started at 7.30 however the express breakfast was appalling and there were quite a few people wanting it & the smallest area provided ! In the restaurant we could see at 7.15 that breakfast was ready to be served yet we were not allowed to enter And when I asked a staff member from restaurant for more juice she pointed to reception staff .. Ridiculous! Perhaps you should ask people on arrival if they have an early departure & work around it as breakfast at 7 am is not unreasonable .. Also pool closing in summer at 7pm is unreasonable .. The garden around pool needs attention also.
The breakfast was good.
The location is not so good as we thaught.
Perfect location near to the metro station (two lines!). Good food and service. Clean.
We'd problem with WiFi. All over the time the laptop was "disconnected" and we need to connect every few minutes.
Had a great stay, room comfy, good staff, plenty of range for breakfast and topped off by all the Redbull riders staying in hotel
Two beds pushed together for a double was awkward as gap in middle of bed uncomfortable. Cup of coffee expensive for 3 euros
Staff were friendly and very helpfull
The wi if didn't work most of the time I was their
Staff was great, breakfast tasty.
WiFi was the slowest I have seen since 1993. 6.6e to get more speed equal to a 56k modem at best.
Wifi is free but not working! Hotel is non smoking but a lot of the rooms are ex-smoking rooms :-(
Excellent toiletries, number of bedding changes, large beds
Expensive breakfasts, noisy guests who banged doors late at night
Super breakfast! Good location by Plaza de Toros and metro stop, direct line to the center.
cleanliness and comfortability of room, variety of food at breakfast, good location with metro, safe in room for free
hospitability, kindness and language (english) of stuff at the reception desk should be better for a 4 star hotel, internet services cost extra money
Really GREAT breakfast. Very friendly staff. Hotel is located 5 minutes walk to the metro station (4 stations to the center), no huge traffic and perfect for business but there's not much to do in the area itself.
The free wifi is slow, you can buy a premium access though.
I went off season. Value for money was just excellent!
clean rooms, comfortable
I will definitely stay here again when I return to Madrid.
